This is the first time I have patronized InVision. I had purchased glasses from The Spectacle Shoppe on and off throughout the years and needed a new pair. After perusing their offerings and not finding anything to my liking, my friend and I decided to give InVision a go since it was in the neighborhood. Honestly, I was not in much of a mood, my dog had died two days prior, and my friend was trying to take my mind off of the loss. The first thing I noticed was a sign on the door welcoming dogs. I immediately perked up. Even if I didnt find anything I liked, I made a mental note to try again later. I love that they are dog-friendly. We walked in and were greeted warmly, but no one pounced on us, which I appreciated. As I half-heartedly scanned their frames, Sue from InVision, came up to let us know that she was there should we have any questions or need anything. Soon thereafter, she, my friend and I were inspecting the large variety of frames. Sue was so helpful and knowledgeable. There was absolutely no pressure. Within no time, we found the right frames. Im not going to lie, they are expensive. However, I cannot wear contacts so I have to wear glasses all the time. Its important to me that I find the right pair that has character. I will pay for quality and uniqueness, which is exactly what I received. I dropped by today to collect my glasses. A young woman was there holding the resident Chihuahua. Unfortunately, I did not get her name. Although she was on the phone, she greeted me warmly and assisted me as soon as she was finished with the client on the phone. She, like Sue, was terrific. I will definitely be returning to InVision on Grand. Great experience! Thanks so much to the wonderful staff!

Heard about this shop listening to the "Lori & Julia show on fm107.1". I had tune in and they spoke of this lovely shop that sold something called “The La Loop” a fashion forward necklace slash eyeglass holder. So with my mother in-law birthday in mind me and my fiancé decide to get them. We arrive to the beautiful store it was a nice clean open store some of the best lighting I every seen there for everything looks great on you. The lady behind the register was sweet and very helpful when I asked to be directed to the la loops. My fiancé being who he is all he see is price tags yet price doesn’t bother him much but he speaks out loud on it (I‘ve got use to ignoring him). While we where deciding on which would be the best for her a lady I believe the owner came from the back and ask the lady behind the register if she was having a problem with us the kind lady said no mention what we where looking for and then the owner turn look at us and turn back to lady and said well if you need me you know where I am. I was so turn off we left. The only thing I could come up with for her to approach us/ the lady behind the register out of the other 10-15 customers that day was I was the only black young lady there in a sundress with my Irish/Italian fiancé. While everyone else I guess fit the store look a little more . It isn’t how pretty your establishment is it’s how you make me feel when I enter and here I felt unwanted

Like some of the other reviewers, I figured a store on Grand Avenue would be pricey. But after looking at six other "cheaper" places and seeing the same, uninteresting frames over and over again and working with people who didnt seem to know much about what they were selling, I decided I would rather have glasses that I love. Into InVision I went and, in hind sight, Im not sure they were pricier and like others have said, at InVision you do get what you pay for. Within a few minutes of entering the shop, Sue had found four pairs of frames for me to try that I thought were great. These folks clearly have a passion for their work and know about the manufacturing, history, and styles of the lines that they carry. I have progressives lenses and they took extra care to ask me how theyd been working for me. They took pains to match the lens material in my new glasses so that I would have less of a transition to the new pair. Natasha made several "good," "better" and "best" suggestions about how the lenses and prescription could be matched so that I wouldnt have "Coke bottle" lenses (ah, the indignity of middle age). But thats sort of the point for why I care about getting great glasses -- if Im lucky enough to grow old, Id like to look cool and I think I do in my "1955" Vintage Oliver Peoples glasses!

My second visit to Invision on Grand. First time getting eye exam there. Am completely satisfied with every aspect of it. Dr. was very good and thorough at explaining my eye problems. The girls were so VERY helpful, they are not afraid to tell you the truth. I love the selection and know I will walk out with a pair that is unique and looks great on. Went in for one pair, and same as last time came out with a great pair of sunglasses!!! While it may seem a little more expensive than others, it is well worth it. You are wearing these things on your face, its the first thing people notice, you want it to look good. Well worth it. Love all the people there. Thanks again for making me look good!!!!

I recently bought two new pairs of glasses at InVisions St. Paul location and I have to say that from beginning to end, my experience was a positive one. I worked with Jana, who was very knowledgeable about the product lines I was interested in and who offered her opinions when I got to the point of making my final selections. She was professional, friendly and extremely helpful and Im grateful that she suggested I opt for bifocals in the sunglasses that I purchased - a simple idea, but one that I really hadnt considered. I can say now that Im really pleased she suggested it! What a great experience form a business that proves that customer service is still alive & well. Highly recommended!

I can not say enough good things about the customer service at InVision! Not only do they have a wonderful selection of beautiful frames, but they have a knowledgable, friendly staff. I worked closely with Natasha to pick out my recent glasses. She suggested frames that were very true to my style, and styles that would look good considering my facial shape. When it came down to deciding between my favorite frames she was very honest and provided her professional opinion. I couldnt be happier with my decision! I will be returning to InVision the next time I am in the market for new glasses.

I was bored with the similar frame styles offered at most eye glass stores. InVision had a completely different selection that I wasnt finding any where else. The staff was very helpful, and didnt hesitate to give me their fashion advice on which frames looked best on me. I walked out of the store feeling satisfied with my selection. Ive gotten some pretty good feedback from my friends about my new frames. The prices were pretty high. But sometimes you pay a little more to get the good stuff that everyone else doesnt have. Overall, very pleased with this store.
