Typical Walmart... horrible customer service, employees know nothing about item location within store. One and my last experience at Walmart: I took my car there to have new tires put on. Before they pulled my car into the stall I asked a tech to take a look at the current condition of my wheels. During the process of either taking the tires on or off they gouged and scratched my wheels around the lug nut holes and scratched the area where the bead of the tire meets the rim. Upon picking up my vehicle, I noticed they parked my car in a dark area of the parking lot where a couple of the security lot lights were out. This seemed suspicious so I took out my flash light and inspected my wheels. I noticed the damage and immediately went back in the store and made the techs aware. I felt like they chose a specific place to park my vehicle so I wouldnt notice the damage. I had to wait until the following day to talk to a manager and when I tried to get a hold of him my calls went unanswered. The next day (2 days after the time of service) I finally received a call from the store manager (after multiple calls each day) and I was asked to come into the store to fill out a claim. Walmart does not settle their own claims but use a 3rd party claims service to follow up on the claim. You can imagine but I received the same service from the claims service (multiple calls with no return call). I could tell from the start the claims service was going to side with Walmart by the way they would talk to me and the questions they asked. I sent them pictures (taken the day of service) of the damage to my wheels (before and after), the documentation I recorded with the techs names, time of service, managers on duty and thorough description of damage to my wheels. After 4 WEEKS, I finally heard back from the claims service and they denied my claim because they stated Walmart does not have tools that would cause the kind of damage I described and documented. This sort of service is not just specific to me. If you research Walmart tire services you will see I am just another tally mark on their wall of shame. I wrote this review not only to shame Walmart but to pass on my experience in hopes to deter another person using their services. This is a horrible company who does not care about their employees or customers and is only looking to make a buck. Walmart abuses the community resources where ever they construct a store and take advantage of tax payers contributions in every way. Walmart is a devastating tornado of a company that sucks up and wipes out everything in its path only to leave everyone else to pick up the pieces. I will NEVER shop at Walmart again, even if I was dying and they had the only cure to keep me alive. I wish I could give them "0" stars.

PS: Shakopee Walmart is the nearest retail shop to my home, they have verity cheap items compared with other competitors, I will continue to shop there since there is no other easy option for me. But now I am writing this to let the world be aware of an unethical retail strategy they have started which I am noticing excessively in the last six months, I am talking about double pricing/mixing higher price items with lower items of shopping goods, ie item may be with lower price tag at the aisle and at register it will scan for a higher price at the counter. This is capitalizing unvigilant customers or takes advantage of shopper’s hesitance to return item after shopping. It can e catagorize as mistake if it was happening only one or two times, but I think I am frugal and smart shopper and I am noticing this more than once in every month month for hte last one year. The actual reason to write this review is because of another crooked act from walmart associate today, I bought 4 apples and I picked $0.89 apples from the aisle and it weighed 1.98lb, but at self-checkout counter it scanned for $1.29, since I was aware of their trick for the last few months, so availed associate’s help to change the price, walmart associate was perplexed for few seconds and later decided to change the price to 0.89, but she intentionally stood in front of me and gently pressed the scale with her finger and made the weight from 1.98lb to 2.37lb, from her expression I could easily notice this since she was not doing this daylight customer robbery skillfully. I can’t blame this low paid hourly worker since she may not be getting any benefit from this and may be doing as per the direction of the store manager or from the top. Pity you Walton for robbing the innocent poor people.

This Walmart has a large selection of items to choose from, always clean and stocked with fresh items. I usually do my grocery shopping at night since its open 24-hours, last month i did my shopping and when i checked out and was loading the groceries into the car i take a look at the receipt and noticed that i was over charged and the cashier added extra items not jus 1 or 2 but 10 items i was overcharged $30 we spoke to the manager and let it slide... A month later 2 days ago we walk into the store to grocery shop again and upon checkout were hit with the total of $276 which to me it was ridiculous and nowhere close to what we boughtso we spoke to the manager she was just intolerable, totally acted like she didnt care on top of that made us scan our card twice and we got overcharged AGAIN how in the hell do you total $276.80 on 13 bags ??? Were still not happy about that im sure it was NO MORE than $200 but she said something hadnt been charged which was ridiculous it cost us 1 hour at the cashier with a HUGE line of people behind us, This is my second and LAST visit to this particular Walmart i advise you to REVIEW your purchase receipt if you ever buy at this location they tend to overcharge customers...OR just go to the self serve machines, this is an abuse to paying customers! I say these people should be fired and replaced!!!

So first of all... I waited in an extremely long line for checkout because only one register was open. Then when I finally got to the checkout, the lady there was extremely rude. I was just trying to buy a fish and she told me I had the wrong item number, even though we had an employee help write the number for us. She only tried the item number twice, then forced us to go all the way back to the back of the store and recheck the number. We checked and had the correct number so we took a picture of the tag and went all the way back to the front. Then we proceeded to wait in an even longer line only to have the same lady accuse us of having the wrong number. She was rude and reluctant to ask for help. She handled the fish poorly and was not apologetic for waisting our time. Even when we had showed her the picture of the item number, price, and bar code she stood there and repeated that we had the wrong number. Then finally she yelled for another employee and that employee was nice and used our picture to type in the price, which the first lady could have easily done. Overall, she was very unpleasant and accusatory towards us. We did not even get an apology.
