In a world where cutting costs often means sacrificing customer service, imagine my shock when I found a small business with exceptional customer service! On my way in to work I had often heard the CPR ads on the radio (KDWB). I had been having issues with my iPhone. When it was plugged in the slightest movement of the wire caused it to disconnect. I had cleaned the port myself, tried different cables, and made my peace with the fact it’s just too expensive to replace. I finally remembered the name from the ad, and called them. A human being answered the phone! It caught me off guard. I explained my issue to the man who answered. He replied like this was something he heard every day. He told me that if anything it’s likely the port needing replacement. It would cost $65 and take about an hour to complete. It’s an iPhone, and apple doesn’t do cheap. So to get a brand new part installed, in an hour, and pay $65 for it all, is better than I expected. Many of you who own iPhones know they cost too much to just go buy a new one. I’d heard enough, I was on my way. I headed there immediately. They’re easy to find, and plenty of parking (even know their neighbor Best Buy’s parking lot is being resurfaced). I walked in and the place was clean, and there were 2 customers sitting on a bench. A man came out from the back. I told him I had called, and explained the issue. He takes a good look at the port. I told him I tried everything, and already cleaned it out. He said, just a minute, sometimes these just get full of gunk that doesn’t come out so easily.” 3 minutes later he returns to the counter, hands me my phone (which now looked cleaner that it’s been since I bought it), and said “the port was just dirty”. Elated, I asked how much I owe for the cleaning? “Nothing at all” he said, “you’re all set.” I actually stood there a bit shocked for a brief moment, thanked him, and left. He could’ve taken me for a port-replacement, and he knew it. Instead, he fixed the issue and charged me nothing. Something tells me this place is going to be a huge success, and that you can’t afford not to go there first.

I have an HTC One M9. I had this location replace the battery on 10/31/2016. All was good until this July when the phone started to shut off when the battery got near 40%. Not a huge deal I figured since its still under their one year defect warranty. Boy was I wrong. I called them to see what we could do about it. After getting told numerous times that I was too close to the warranty and that they dont work on these phones anymore, I finally convinced them to honor their warranty and they ordered a replacement battery. 9 days went by and I didnt hear from them. I called in and they said the order most have gotten messed up and theyd order one again. That brings us to today. I got a call from them telling me the battery came in so I stopped in this evening to have it replaced. An hour after dropping it off I returned only to be told they didnt see any evidence of them working on it prior to today! The guy said we "usually" put these evidence stickers inside the case for proof of work being done and they didnt find any, nor did they see any evidence of the phone being disassembled by them! I was floored! I argued the point that this is the only phone Ive had and theyre the only ones to have ever worked on it. He refused to honor the warranty and told me the problem Im having is due to normal use and due to them not seeing their evidence sticker, they cant do anything. I am beyond upset and they lost a customer over this. Ill be telling everyone I know about how I was treated and to avoid this business.

This place is an absolute joke. Called to get my screen fixed for an iPhone 7 and made sure to ask if they use authentic apple products in replacing an apple product. Of course they responded with "yes." I pick my phone up the next day with a screen that I am more than positive was purchased through eBay. I have repaired numerous screens for friends and family and they all purchase them from eBay or amazon...lets just say the quality was complete trash. Only reason I was paying out to get it repaired was to get authentic parts. Color was awful, sensitivity to the touch screen was terrible, and functions such as when you are on the phone and the screen is supposed to blackout so no buttons can be pushed by your cheek did not work either. I contacted them for a refund and they tried to order me a new trash screen and then claimed to have sent my old broken screen to the maple grove location. So I called there and they had no recollection of ever receiving broken screens from the Coon rapids location. All in all, I went to apple to get my screen replaced, not only did they do it faster they did it cheaper...about $70 cheaper! $200 at CPR and $130 at apple. Learned my lesson the hard way with this joke of a store. Save your money and time.

Worst customer service EVER! I brought my phone in August 11th and paid to get my scram over nighted got a defective screen and needed it that weekend as I dont live in the area so I left my phone with my parents to get the next screen in expecting to get it the following week after paying next day shipping the first time around. Recieved yet another defective/ wrong screen so I waited again for the right screen finally tonday August 24th my dad brought me my phone and went to take a picture and it still is defective! Ive spent more than 5 hours on the phone with these crooks and have been told theyll call tomorrow never call back! Just plain disrespectful people will never go back excepting to go in again next week and discuss options! And get this yesterday was the first time they said sorry!

I had a Samsung Galaxy s7 with a cracked screen. The guy at the counter ordered the wrong part and I was over charged. When I called about it, I was told that I will be refunded the difference. I only saw about half of what I was supposed to get back. Also during the repair, they broke my call speaker, my screen now sticks out a bit, my back glass panel is damaged and my phone is no longer waterproof. I was told that the waterproof thing was because of the adhesive they use, which Im not happy about, but I get it. What really irks me is that I should have been told about that before I payed. I am going back in tomorrow to get this all sorted out and if things go well, Ill do a follow up review. As of now though, I am super dissatisfied with CPR.

If I could give this store 10 stars I would. Little shop with big store service, with no big store attitude. I have older Nexus tablet that was "sick". Used their online free estimate. Very prompt reply. Drove all the way from Brooklyn Center to Coon Rapids. Well worth the trip. Leveled with me that it probably was the battery, but since it was older, it could be motherboard. The gentleman laid out my options, without pressure, and let me decide how to proceed. Needless to say, I am delighted my tablet is fixed and working like new! I am 60, but no talking down to me. Great to be treated so well! Give this store your business, they will work hard to get your electronic "stuff" up and running!
