Have never been treated like more of a criminal. Used to be greeted upon arrival from an employee in the front, instead both just looked at me and proceeded to follow me as if not needing assistance wasnt an option. I simply needed some nuts and bolts for a project, I wasnt allowed to touch anything...instead they picked them out and wrote up a tag before I was able to verify it was exactly what I needed. Maybe its just me, but as a male I like to weight my different options. Apparently theft has been a serious problem here lately, but if you treat all your customers like thieves they will go elsewhere. I will.

I stop in for home repair and lawn/garden items on a regular basis. Always able to get exactly the parts I need in the right quantities. They have a lot of items I wouldnt expect a smaller hardware store to have, and the staff are very competent and able to suggest the right parts for the job I need to do. Im never looking for a part more than a minute without finding what Im looking for thanks to the staff. I prefer this store over Menards, Home Depot and Lowers and get almost everything I need here.

I love Mound True Value Hardware. They always very willing to help you and they have good prices. Its so nice having a hardware store in town because living around the lake you would have to drive a long way to get to a "big box store". Besides they are so nice who wants to drive anywhere?
