Good hardware store option. Not sure about the dude dealing drugs. I think that is made up. Also, they dont have everything, its not a lumberyard. They will have 80% of what you need. BUT, for what it means, I try and buy as much as I can from small, locally owned businesses, and even though I have a small hardware store near me and I still drive an extra 15 minutes to come to this location. Why? Friendly helpful staff 90% of the time (which is definitely better than big box stores). If they can order something they dont have they do so without complaint, error, or price jacking. They have all the important stuff for projects at about the same price as the big box. I dont have to walk around home depot for 45 minutes to find what I need because they have a decent selection here. They have a rewards program that is free and I dont have to drag my card in. I know thats becoming standard, but typically that happens at small, local stores last. Try getting someone at Menards to mix you paint right away without waiting in line and then coming back in 20 minutes. Downsides: They dont have everything, I know they simply cannot, but the limited lumber supply often drags me to a big box making two trips. A couple of employees are a bit slow on the uptake, if you know what I mean. But they try hard, and the rest easily make up for it.

I think we can all agree on the pros and cons of big box stores versus mom and pop shops, so Ill set that aside. My experience surrounds the helpful and ultra-savvy staff who knew exactly what I was needing and answered my questions in plainly spoken manner. I started over the phone by explaining what I was looking for--the individual went and sought out the colors/styles/sizes available in the store and priced them out for me so I could weigh the pros and cons before I even came to the store! I live downtown, but regularly make the trip to this store anyway due to their helpful nature.

2010 - 2012 - 2014 GIANTS

Called this store and asked if they had ReRack dishwasher rack repair. I was told they did and it would cost $5.99. When I got to the store, no one knew where to find the ReRack. I had to find it myself but at least the price was showing $5.99 as I was told over the phone. When I checked out, the price magically went to $6.50! I told the clerk the price shows 5.99 on the shelf. She just replied " do you want it or not?". When I told her I had to have it but I would never come back to her store, she could not have cared less.

Called after hours inquiring about an item and the lady told me to call back in the morning this literally would have taken less than one minute to figure out if it is in the store or not. But she hung up before I could say anything word, will be taking to the management here to say the least piss poor customer service

Just moved to neighborhood walked into your store 2 guys at the front no other customers. We made eye contact. There was no hello or may we help you. I preceeded to plumbing supplies - needed advice --no one showed up. Truly believe I probably will spend a couple grand at another place. To ready our new home.

Apparently women dont get helped, or asked if they need help to find anything, but men get chased down by male staff. I finally asked a stranger, and fellow shopper, for help finding an item. I will be avoiding this location for anything but emergency needs.

Used the Just Ask rental and was promised a tool but found out the day I picked it up it was in the shop, thought I was getting an equivalent but was grossly underpowered for my needs, felt a little misled but I shoulder that responsibility.

The staff was nice but their metal detector was junk! If youre looking for a metal detector go to Sunbelt Rentals. They have a nice one that worked well.
