This ACE hardware store mixed the wrong paint color for me. I did not like it on the walls after two coats so went back to the store with my complaint. They tried to blame it on a corporate mistake and told me to call them. I did and they said the store never took the time to change paint numbers in their database when instructed to, so back to the store I went. They would do nothing but exchange the paint. All other paint stores contacted (5) said they would of refunded my paint price, AND given me a new gallon of the "correct" paint I ordered in the first place. This store said no, they would not compensate me for my time and trouble of applying to my walls even though it was their mistake. BEWARE before buying paint from ACE HARDWARE in New Prague MN............. After a few weeks time, I wrote to owner of store who in turn called me and agreed the store had made a mistake, and has agreed to give me a store credit for the faulty paint. I am a happier customer now that they have made things right, but frustrated I had to jump through the hoops I did to get this resolved.

A certain manager here which take phone calls was very rude, belittling and ultimately zero help at all. I asked if he would work with me as I was not certain the the manufacture of the lawn mower belt I was looking to buy (it shredded when I failed) and when I didnt know he asked me, yes me. How he was going to find out what belt I needed. Finally ended by hanging up on me. Already have had nothing good to say about this ace Location but this topped it. Need corporate discipline badly!!! I would recommend order online or driving and hr before going to this location.

Today I witnessed very disturbing behavior from the manager on duty, as he screamed at an employee belittling her and almost bringing her to tears over nothing... I will not be shopping here anymore, because not only have i witnessed multiple times, the bad treatment he gives to his employees, but also customers as well. And for a man his age, to be flirting with young high school girls is very unprofessional. He needs corporate discipline and this store needs better management.

Im not sure there is a business with better customer service then New Prague Ace. They greet everyone coming thru the door and guide them to their needed items. no walking around lost looking. The youth working there have a better attitude and work ethic then most adults in retail. The training by the owners is exceptional. You may pay just a hair more but its still cheaper than driving to Menards or Fleet Farm. Shop with Ace they are awesome!!!

They wouldnt return an 18$ sled that broke within ten minutes of buying it. What a waste of money there. Dont shop at ace
