I bought a washer and dryer set. The guys delivered the set but stated that they werent going to install it b/c we didnt purchase the dryer vent (which we did). After talking to 3 very rude women on the "Customer Care" line, I was told that their subcontracators didnt install b/c of a shelf that my wife had removed (so we have 2 stories...what the drivers told us and what they told HD). Further, the rude lady on the Customer Hate line essentially said that their refusal to install is my problem, not theirs. I was told me to call the delivery company to reschedule. There are to many appliance stores to buy from Home Depot and deal with their crap!

I had some issues ordering a very specific discharge pipe online, and upon calling the customer service, was instructed to call the store directly for that specialty item. Unfortunately, it was no longer available in our area at all. Alonzo, in store, did all he could to find it for me though. We hung up the phone, but hours later I was contacted again by the store customer service. They found a little longer version of the hose, made by a different manufacturer, and were just calling to let me know I could order that online if I still needed. HOURS LATER they went out of their way to call me back for that! Im impressed!

Horrible! We could not get one person to help us! One customer who needed help carrying out his large load of ceramic tiles could not find any sales associate to help him load it up. Even after the lady at the return desk kept calling for any associate to help over the loud speaker. Needless to say we left and went to Lowes. Once we were at Lowes we found a wonderful and very helpful associate to help us.

I was in this store today. There was one young man in siding that was very helpful, but that is where the good service started and ended. There were many employees there, but no one offered help in any other departments. There was a lot of standing around and talking among employees, but no help.

Stopped in to look for a standby generator. They were cordial, but not at all helpful. I was more or less told to call the help number if I wanted any information. Why bother advertising these in the store if employees are not trained or incentivized to sell them?

Two men name MC and Danny were of great help when I and my mom bought two screen doors of different sizes. We had a tough time fitting them into the car. So, they stuck around for a really long time and made it work. They were also very funny and patient.

I bought 15 bags of 50lb sand and 20 bags of mulch. They wanted me to carry them from the garden center through the store to load on my truck with no help. Needless to say I cancelled the sale and am going to lowes. What happened to customer service?

Building a fence? Home Depot on Bert Kouns has augers for rent and pre-drilled metal posts. Lowes on Youree has neither. Go to HD to get everything you need
