Everything was great until the day of installation. I was told our appointment was 1 pm. I took the afternoon of from work everything from the three rooms to be carpeted was in the spare rooms. 1:30 came they had not showed up. So I called and was told that they had a window of 1-4 pm. 4:38 pm still no carpet called again. The store said we will call in check. The installer called and said they were 1 hr and 40 minutes out! Now I have to buy supper as we cant cook in a he kitchen cant even get to the stove. I also need to be back to work at 10 pm and the beds need to be back in the bedroom. I cant take another day off from work and they had better do a great job. I will NEVER Buy carpet their again and I will NEVER recommend that they install again. Totally wasted a whole afternoon of work and now Ill be late for my 10 pm shift. Worst part no- one cared.

Recently had an excellent experience purchasing an appliance. The staff were extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. John (I think?) helped me get a microwave on short notice AND took the time to match a competitors discount price. Will absolutely continue using Home Depot for all appliance needs. (FYI- the excellence of this experience is in stark contrast to the run-around I got from another big box store on the other side of town. Waited a week for an oven - no calls, no follow-up, and no idea what they actually had in inventory.) Big thanks to Mankato Home Depot!

Guy looked at me like I was simple because I asked him if they had sheet metal screws for some corrugated accent wall project I got going on. Tried selling me cabinet screws instead, and cocked an attitude when I told him that wasnt going to work. " I dont know then, figure it out. " he said. I swear to god, someday a mfer like that is going to get knocked out. Going to take someone on a bad day to just give that guy a new face. Wish I wouldve got his name but Ill never go back. Bottom line goto Menards ya know what Im say-yin?

Home Depot has just about every item you need with competitive pricing. In comparison to the surrounding competition Home Depot holds the median prices and products. They offer name brand products as well as preparatory competitively priced products as well. Every encounter I have had with staff has always been friendly and they seem very knowledgeable in the products they sell. Home Depot appreciates Veterans as well, offering dedicated parking and a store discount.

I purchased flowering bushes from home depot on sale last year & they died. At the time I bought them they claimed if they didnt survive the winter (which was a concern due to late season) they would replace with plant for plant. I was right, they didnt survive, so I got a hold of home depo store, now they say its a store credit. So home depo LIED to make a sale last year. Buy your plants else where.

Bought a $3,000 mower from here. It was supposed to come with a free John Deere cooler ($249 value). The said Id get an email about my free cooler. I never did. Now I call Home Depot customer service and they act like they never heard of the promotion. They said take it up with John Deere. This is fraud. Two big companies ripping off tax paying Americans. I wont stand for it!

Dont build a new house and buy your stuff here, you wont be able to make many returns. Between the online orders for new age garage cabinets over 4g and mstewart patio furniture over 3g and 5g in other misc purchases, denied a return for a 50.00 item. Better off starting an account at a local lumber yard and buy everything on that acct.

Rerouted all my online orders to guest service desk when they were sent to pro desk. The prodesk is easier to enter and exit from and having your car so close to the door makes it easier to get in and out when you have 10 other things to do that day.
