I live in dinky town and this place is my favorite! It is much better and reasonably priced compared to other great places in the twin cities area. (All donuts shops have their amazing donut so I wouldnt say it is the best. Just my favorite since it is so close and has the old dirty bastard) The hours the shop is open do kinda suck but it always makes my day if I am walking past at 9 or 10 am and see they are open! Be aware that they make all the donuts really early and close when they sell out so if you go later there will be less choices. All of these things are clearly stated on their website hours. I bring people here all the time (usually at night). The choices are amazing and the names of the donuts are unique. The worker (owner), Brad, is very chill and is always blasting music. He has a great memory and remembers faces like none other. It is nice to walk in and be greeted by a friendly face! The whole shop is a little small and can get cramped at night. There is a little seating area with an N64. He has the classics, we chose Mario Cart 64. All of the donuts are labeled clearly with the price on their website. Try the old dirty bastard (my favorite).Im pretty sure all the donuts are raised donuts so just keep that in mind. Try and get there early and play a little N64 while eating the donuts! Enjoy!

It was pretty good, but the Sandlot was made with cinnamon toast crunch instead of golden grahams which I think may have been an accident, but ruined the donut. All the other donuts I tried where good. The donuts are very soft and have a slight cinnamon flavor. The owner is super friendly and helpful. I love the names and style of everything with this business. I will be back, it is definitely worth a try if youre on the fence about going to this place.

Stale donuts in a hallway is the best way to describe this place. Hardly any donuts and what was there looked like they had been there for days (maybe longer). To make it worse there was no place to sit and the lack of lighting made it feel depressing just to be there. Btw, we never even got any donuts. Place made us feel grossed out and sad.

I couldnt believe the variety and the quality of the donuts they have there. These donuts are not like your typical big chain restaurant donuts; theyre made with care. And the owner, Brad, was incredibly friendly and nice. We sat down and had a conversation while I ate my donut. This is a great local donut shop. I highly recommend it!

Fantastic friendly employees who are more than happy to review all the different kinds of donuts. Every single one sounded phenomenal but I just couldnt pass up a donut coated in fruity pebbles! (the Gay 90s) Will absolutely go back. I hope the proximity of Tom Hortons doesnt affect their traffic. They deserve your business.

Update: Skip the Tom Hortons next door if Sssdude-Nutz is open. Its locally owned and the owner operates the shop and it is GOOD. Get in there. Small, cute and the owner is right there working in his shop. Oh, and the donut I got was great. I live on the other side of downtown, but will definitely go back.

First had these at VegFest, and they are an experience to be had. I highly recommend Sssdude-Nutz if you looking for great doughnuts that can fit (most) any diet, from Gluten-Free to Vegan. Be warned, as a small bakery product is made fresh so product can be sold-out. Be early to get in on the goodness.

Dont let the mildly confusing name fool you. The sign out front said "Donuts chill" and thats exactly what it is. Nice chill atmosphere, good music, great donuts and coffee. This guy wants to become a staple of Dinkytown and with a place like this, I hope that happens. Keep it up, sssdude.

Donuts tastes great, funny names, chill spot, owner has a great personality, I can go on all day about how dope this place is. This place has a different atmosphere than another bakery (obliviously) id recommend sssdude nutz to anyone whos trying to grab something sweet to eat

Its 1030am and they stopped making donuts only 4 in the whole store. They said verbatim "we stopped making donuts for the day". I drove 20 mins to get these "popular " donuts and i coudnt even do that. So dissatisfied.

A fun place with wonderful potential! The donuts are huge and chewy, which can be a positive or negative. Their frosting is very sweet and tasty. I think theyre going to perfect their recipes in the future.
