We are so fortunate to have Sunrise so close by! Every donut is amazing! Like others, we have tried so many donut places, but this place beats them all. Sunrise is always the one we compare all donut shops to...and we always say, "this is good, but not as good as Sunrise!" You have to go early, or you might not get any, because they close as soon as they are sold out!

How can I give it one star? I drove a half an hour to try one of their donuts after reading reviews and they werent even open. It was 1230, they were totally cleaned out so obviously they were closed for awhile. Im not even sure if this place is still open. Their open sign was hanging almost sideways. Wont waste my time and gas coming back here.

Sunrise donuts are the best donuts in Minneapolis. Forget bogarts brioche dough or bakers wifes classic cake, Sunrise beats them all. The location is weird and sometimes sells out early, but thats because their donuts are the gold standard in Minneapolis. 5 stars, no question.

Great hidden gem. A variety of amazing donuts and decent coffee in a small mom and pop style shop. My only complaint is that it was difficult to find due to the signage and tucked away location on the side of the strip mall.

Great local donut shop. Good selection of cake and raised donuts. Cant go wrong. Also a little area outside to enjoy them. Very friendly & helpful counter service. But behind the PC shop - kinda hard to see from the front.

Cheap donuts. Not really unique stuff, but its the highest form of the types you would find at the gas station. I wouldnt suggest the coffee here though, unless you dont mind a cup of Folgers.

Only place I have found that still has the chocolate glazed cake donut with chopped peanuts on top! Amazing!!! Prices are very good, just get there early, before 10am, for a good selection

Great service! I called ahead in the AM to reserve 60 donuts and the cashier had them all boxed up and set aside for me when I arrived. Quick, convenient, and exceptional service.
