I bought a pair of the $200 predators, and they felt fine in the store. When I got home I wore them some more started running the leather started loosening, and my feet started sliding in them. I went back to return them (found a different shoe) and I got an argument from the owner instead of the great service I had previously had. The bottoms had some black spots that wiped off (dust or something), and he said he couldnt sell these as new shoes. He never even questioned the leather or anything else on the top of the shoe. I have never encountered anything like this. The owner asked the salesmen who had helped me, and he told the owner that he had explained to me that I had 2 hours to try out the shoes and bring them back. 2 hours, are you kidding me! Ive never heard that before let alone the day I bought them. The owner even said if I had purchased a $90 pair of shoes it would have been a different story. I would have received different service had I bought different shoes? Maybe it is just me but I would take care of the customers who spend more money in the store. After the 20 minute argument he decided he would exchange them for me. I feel I was somewhat cheated, and will not ever be going there again. P.S. - I worked as a shoe salesmen, and thought this was insane. No different than a person trying a pair of running shoes on the treadmill only to find out they didnt want them. You have to be able to run in them to know exactly how they are going to feel.

I only gave it 3 stars because its an OK shop. Prices are decent. Shop is relatively small(even after the renovation). The owner is pretty cold and doesnt seem to care at all. Just a bad attitude. A simple smile can go a long way in my opinion. Prices were comparable to online prices at world soccer shop but without the sites variety. In a state where its cold half the year you would think that turf and indoor shoe selection would be as wide as the normal cleats but this wasnt the case. Nothing I wanted was in my size and I had to wait 4 days for an online purchase instead of supporting a local shop. Oh well the owner didnt seem to care that I was in the store anyways. ** Side note ** the reviewer that was upset about them not taking back shoes. If theres even a crease in the shoes where they bend at the toe, places wont take them back. You have to realize that shoes are very very easy to "break in" as far as their looks are concerned. If you had run in place at the store you probably would have felt them slip and not purchased them or gotten a different size. You would have had the same experience had you returned shoes online because you cant sell anything new unless they are in perfect shape.

The manager of this store is a major jerk. Rude, disrespectful, and condescending. And I am a guy! I wonder how he would treat my wife if she came in to the store. As well, I purchased $230.00 Nike Cleats for my 14 year old son and after 3 weeks they started to fall apart. The reviews on Nikes web site listed durability issues from many reviewers, so I am obviously not making this up. They are Hypervenom Phantom FGs. I called, was unlucky enough to get the same jerk manager on the line, and he told me he could do nothing for me. Called Nike, who directed me back to the retailer. Told them the retailer wasnt an option, so now I have to send the shoes to Nike for inspection. My son doesnt have backup cleats, so now I will have to buy a new pair of cleats while Nike makes a decision on a potential voucher. I am very disappointed in Nike, who I have never had a problem with. This store will never see my face again.

The previous review could have been written by me. After having issues with a Nike venom after only 3 wears, the tongue fell out, I attempted to return to Burnsville only to be redirected to Minneapolis. I drove the 20 miles to get the issue resolved. The owner was condescending and rude. Told me the tongue broke because my son had the wrong cleat, this was after I informed him his staff fit my son and recommended this specific cleat. Ultimately he did exchange the shoe for me by thrusting it across the counter and throwing the defective cleats in the trash. The original sales people at Burnsville were very helpful but according to their boss did not fit my son correctly.

Ive gone here a number of times because its in my neighborhood and I like to support local independent businesses. The other day my son and I went in to buy a new pair of shoes for him. As I was explaining our needs, another man entered the store with with what he seemed to think was an urgent need for soccer shoes. The salesman turned all his attention to this new customer, ignoring us, the preceding customers. I announced that wed go elsewhere and left. I dont need to be fawned over as a customer, but I do like to see the very basics of customer service and general politeness observed. Its a shame, because Id much rather walk to a local store than drive to some chain.

I took my daughter here for shoes and shin guards. The selection was great, and the service was excellent. The guy helping us asked how much I wanted to spend and did not balk when I said, "Hopefully, not very much." He showed my daughter a couple of shoes, figured out her size, had her run around the store, and kick around a ball. I spent roughly the same amount we were going to spend at one of the larger chains but felt much more confident that I had purchased the right shoe, size, etc. I was also pleasantly surprised that there was free parking right next to the store! Great place for soccer gear!

I work a few blocks away so I started coming here from convenience and now theres no other soccer store in the Cities Ill shop at. The service is always good - they drop whatever they are doing to help. The manager can feel pushy, but he will give you bulk discounts when buying multiples of the same item - its the only retail store I know who does this for individual shoppers. Great products and location.

Owner was very pushy and clearly wanted us to buy shoes and leave. Not friendly at all. Very rude also, no customer service at this store. Awful experience, and above all the few shoes I wanted they didnt have my sizes due to there awful quantities. Dont waste your time with Planet soccer unless you like bad selection and very rude and mean owners.

Ive never stepped inside the store, but Ive called them to ask questions about a product. The guy on the phone (I assume it was the manager that other reviewers have mentioned) was horribly rude, barely spoke English, and suddenly hung up on me. I like to support local businesses, but at that point Id rather just order from WorldSoccerShop.
