Very knowledgeable staff and good selection of skates. Nice location on 50th and France as well. This place is THE store in the Twin Cities if youre looking to get outfitted with Graf Skates. I was fitted here upon the recommendations manufacturers rep in Calgary, AB. I was outfitted with custom insoles, Tuuk LSP2 holders instead of the Cobras. Very positive experience.

I had my skates profiled here. While the last time I had them profiled it was $6, the most recent time was $40. If I would have been told it would have been that much, I would have looked elsewhere. Very expensive for such a simple job and inconsistent in price. Warn your customers of the cost before they decide. I wont be going back here.

These are the most knowledgeable hockey equipment guys around. Matt went way above and beyond to make sure my skates fit just right. Unlike most stores, I get greeted by name when I walk in the store and they do whatever they can to make sure I walk out with what I need. Im a frequent customer because Ive never found anyplace better!

Just tried calling the store to ask if they have a certain item in stock. After listening to the very long OGM, pressing 2 to talk to someone, it rang and rang and I was told to leave a message. Since they are the only store that carries what I want, I am hoping the customer service in the store will be better.

Love the fact they offer free skate sharpening if you buy skates there. They are quick to offer used skates if they have the right size for your kid. Great fittings for skates.

They do a great job with skate sharpening and contouring. General Sports (both locations) is one of the few places I trust to sharpen a pair of skates with care and consistency.
