I LOVE coming to this Savers Thrift Store on Coon Rapids blvd. I dont live in the area, so I would advise using your GPS to get there, because there is a back road to get there, and I tend to miss it. Its next to Michaels, and the now defunct Hancock Fabrics. HUGE parking lot with tons of available parking. EMPLOYEES are always kind to me. I feel they are hard workers-they have to handle the items that people no longer want and figure out how to price them, them put them out on the floor, and do it quickly. I always see them working; and not standing around talking (which I appreciate!). PRICES: I think prices are relatively good. Im cheap, so its true, I dont want to spend $7.99 on a blouse type shirt--BUT that same one is WAY less than the store, and probably not available at the original store. So if I really want it, Ill buy it. Plus, they may have prices high originally, because on the SPECIAL days of discount, you get it for cheaper! TIPS: I LOVE the bags on the walls that have 3-5 things in them, for a set price. I LOVE love love the toiletries, where I can get lotions, toothpaste, shampoos, make ups.. in similar bags, for only $3.99 or so. THats my Fav. Kids & Sewing & Office & Home Decor & Electronics ALL have bags like this--a bunch of things for a low price! TIP: Get on their email lists, donate to them & you will get a punch card for your donations--you can then use the punch card, for up to 30% off. MY BEST TIP: SHOP on THURSDAYS! You get 25% off all items (might be a few exceptions) with your Savers Club Card (free). They also have SENIORS day, where they get a HUGE 40% off discount. And a few other special days. GOOD EXPERIENCE: I had an especially great experience yesterday, 6/12/16. I saw this huge cat tree that I wanted to buy for $39.99. I asked at the front how to pick it up/pay for it. She had Tim from furniture meet me in furniture. He was excited someone was buying it and so was I! I paid at the front, and then drove around back, and he loaded it in my car (believe me, I wasnt prepared to buy such a large item), but we fanangled it in there. I drove home a happy lady! I was very appreciative & happy. It just needed a little tightening to the base and my cats loved it!

Im pleasantly surprised to see how terribly this store in particular is doing. I guess the combination of pushing ridiculous quotas on your already-overworked employees and the thankless reception to the fruits of their labor is taking its toll. Perhaps if management actually took responsibility for their incompitence instead of blaming their employees for their plummeting numbers, maybe you wouldnt have such a high turnover. By all means, continue to push quantity over quality - because your employees can make good product out of thin air, and *somebody* is totally going to buy the awful product that makes it to the sales floor. But what do I know? Id only worked here for two years.

I want to give this Savers a higher rating - I really, really do. However, when I hear the manager berating an employee about stealing jewelry through the wall while Im half naked in a changing room, Im going to have a less than ideal experience. To everyone saying the prices are too high: Yes, that is correct. You gotta be smart. Its the same thing at Goodwill, same thing on Craigslist, people are dumb and think their items are worth more than they are. Go on sale days, get the savers card, and be willing to haggle if you find a damaged piece youre interested in.

Ive heard nothing but horrible things about management at this location - no wonder your employees dont want to do their jobs! The people that I regularly chat with are miserable! Their bosses treat them like dirt, and it shows. Why would they want to keep the store tidy and clean if they didnt feel valued for it? Will still stop in to talk with these lovely people, but will be making my purchases at Goodwill until you lot shape up! Shame on you!

One word I can say is EXPENSIVE!!! First of all, I was looking through athletic shirts and they wanted $10.00 each for a shirt And they were used shirts. Then I saw a tank top by the brand Fila and they wanted $19.99 and it was used, it wasnt new with tags. I could go to the goodwill and get 10 athletic shirts for the price of that tanktop. So if you are in need of clothes for cheap I wouldnt recommend this store.

Overly priced items and the items that are cheap are excessively worn like basically trash. The mens department especially the jeans are dirty and are still priced at $12 and the decent jeans are priced at $19 can get brand new jeans at Marshalls cheaper then that. The housewares department has dirty cups bowls and silverware. I purchased a kitchen set from there and it was filthy I know its a thrift shop but dam.

worst place ever. this place will go to garage sales to buy cheap items and then bring them back and sell them for a VERY expensive price. this is not okay. you have staff that do not want to talk and avoid talking to customers when they have questions as well as the management team they have being very rude when you talk with them about a problem.

Place smelled like spilled chemicals and mildew. While they did have an interesting selection of dirty and old items there is things strewn about on the floor and there is no real system of organization. There are signs but dont expect everything to be in that area. The one good thing, the only thing is the staff are generally nice and attentive.

People donate their clothes and other items, and Savers flips their crap for a major profit. Yes, I would love to pay $11 for a pair of ripped up, heavily worn jeans; only $22 for a pair that has holes in the groin. Because "ease of access" jeans are much more "stylish." 0 stars for this entire corrupted organization.

They are very high priced for a thrift store. Selling used clothing at new clothing prices is a shame. There electronic department could be bigger and less cluttered. Maybe more outlets so you can test before you decide to buy it. Nothings marked indicating if its working or non working.

Certainly on the scruffier side, and like most Savers the team members are generally friendly enough but certainly very simple folks... I had found some deals here last fall/winter, but lately I have noticed pricing here racheting up quite a bit ...

Good clean affordable 2nd hand clothing, good service, only thing needed would be to sweep out the dressing rooms occasionally , lots of lint on the floor gets on my bare feet, teehee

Sad when a thrift store charges as much as walmart prices. And if it has the original tag the charge same price and just cover it with their sticker. Id rather have new at this point
