The people that work at savers on Lake St in Minneapolis wouldnt know customer service if it slapped them across the face. They extremely over price that crap that they have in thir store. They had a pair of Ralph Lauren jeans with urine stains on them for $19.99. No damage discount. And dont find anything without a tag, because THEY NO SALE NOTHING WITHOUT TAG. and dont call a supervisor to ask about the no tag policy, because theyll assume you removed the tag, and theyll treat you like crap. I saw MARY SHERMAN the old manager pull a tag off of a coffee table that a woman wanted. So when the woman went to ring up Mary denied her the sale because of the missing tag. But I also saw Jeff, another manager sell something without a tag to a young blonde dressed in tight revealing clothes. So I question theyre morals.

All of the merchandise in this store is donated by people who dont need it or dont want it any more. They put prices on the items that are way too high and to top that off, they say no returns or exchanges if you dont have reciepts. I have brought merchandise from a verity of stores and lost my reciepts and took it back and either gotten a store credit or an even exchange. The store supervisor even accused me of changing a price on a pair of shoes. I would never recommend shopping at this store to any one, especially when they accuse their customers of changing prices. Shop at the Steeple People or St. Vincent Depaul. Stores that are there for the people.

I kind of like this Savers, its conveniently located right off Hiawatha and I have found real gems there. If you think the price is too high that DONT BUY IT or use the 25% off coupon you get for donation. Mondays are 25% off with Savers Club card. The selection its ALWAYS changing, you might get there and see some cool stuff or you show up and its all picked over. Luck of the draw. Staff are just fine as well. Never had a problem at the check-out lane or with any staff. Fast, friendly, and efficient. The only problem is Parents who abandon their little kids in the toy section, thinking its some sort of a Day Care while they shop.

Desperately needs air cleaning and a thorough vacuuming. Prices have jumped quite a bit in the last year. Workers there seem to have a better attitude, though. Though I love consignment, they dont pay for stuff.... Im not a fan of the for-profit model, particularly when I read about not-so-solid bookkeeping. I have about 10 donation coupons, so Ill use them, but these folk have made a killing off my old stuff over the last 10 years. Id much prefer to see that handled responsibly, so Im donating elsewhere.

What I really like is that you can actually find there alot things for the household , decorations , sometimes awesome furniture pieces and the prices for the products are to 90% pretty good ... All you got to do is TAKE YOUR TIME and look around then you can find brands which are in regular stores high priced ... I actually found from Ralph Lauren , (I think it was RL) , male jammy pants for about ONLY 14$ !!! Its worth it to go there !!! So thumbs up for SAVERS !!!

Good stuff. Good prices. The only savers that wont let customers use the restroom, which is very obnoxious considering many of them are elderly or disabled. All other saver locations have restrooms, this location just has a poorer clientele, which they seem to punish hate and despise. I put up with their customer hating ways because I find good stuff, but if being abused for a good deal is beyond your tollerence threshold, try another location.

You have to go often, some trips you end up not buying anything. Caution, some things seem to be overpriced, I guess it depends on who is putting the tags on the merchandise. This place has dressing rooms. If you are looking for furniture, this is not the place, all of the furniture is trash. I often mostly go for womens clothes- mainly dresses, skirts, blouses and sweaters.

You know, the prices are good for the quality. But that was my trip. Youll need to look closely and depending on when you go and what youre looking for, you may get lucky or not. The service is not great but generally friendly if youre friendly first. But the trade is good quality used clothing for very little moolah, I can put up with below average service. Try it.

Savers is one of those thrift stores that I ow what I want. I want a ton of nonsense and I want to search around and I want good deals. This place does just that. They do sometimes over price clothes that have recognizable brand names, which I find annoying. But they have a great club card and do amazing sales. I go here about once a week and always have a lot of fun

This is the Best Savers in MN based on items they sell. If you are looking for anything older than twenty years old in dishes, toys or anything, most likely youll find it here. I have replaced dishes, cookware and lids, lost/ damaged pieces to games and toys. The selection here is varied but consistent. Friendly staff and donating has been helpful.

The staff are most rude, they dont care about the customer just getting money off you. They act like they are better than you, come on now you work in a thrift store. Bad I mean worse customer service ever. If you were considering going to Savers at least not this location. They should be shut down or hired better managers.

I dont understand why other reviews do not like this store. It is a thrift store composed up of donated items. Its not supposed to be a place to get nice clothing... Its a great place if you need a cheap halloween costume, or if you just need to get cheap clothes. Dig enough and you can find some good stuff here!

This is a fabulous store. I have found great jeans at much better prices than any of the other thrift stores. Cashiers have been very helpful when they arent swamped with customers. Last time I was there and bought stuff to furnish an apartment and other timers helped me get things to my car. Everyone was so nice!

Its not really a charitable place. They are a for profit business that gets free item and charges high prices and gives a fraction of their profit to a charity and the employees are not paid well. They do post this information on their building but it is placed above your head where you wont notice it.

There are some nice deals here but only when there are actually things you want to buy. Things have gotten kind of skim lately. Be prepared to give the cashier your bag when you go in because they dont let you walk around with them. Also be prepared to deal with noisy kids running around.

Yesterday I heard employee talking about there sex lifes. It was gross. Everything here is priced very high compared to other nearby thrift stores. I have left with nothing after 5 visits, the prices are to high in comparison to the competition. The store is nicely organized however

Always low or negotiable prices on many items. Always discounts storewide and when our yard sales dont turn a profit, most of our things end un in Savers donation center for another discount card. Its an everyday garage sale. 4stars. Some items do need love after purchase.
