We were in Albertville, MN for shopping and decided to stop by at Ashley on 1/25. My wife and I spent about 2-hrs but didnt buy anything. Salesperson assisted us, and informed us the 12-mth financing was available with no min purchase (72-mth was available with 2k purchase). I asked several times if there were other conditions and were informed none. We went back on Sunday (1/26) and assisted by different salesperson. Finalized our order, but were informed that the 12-mth financing wasnt available because we chose discounted/clearance items (about 1k); but 6-mth was available. While we were unhappy with it, but we understand. The store manager came up to explain. I was very unhappy with him and his explanations. He claimed that the first salesperson was new employee and didnt know all the rules; lame excuse from any manager - in any profession. What upset me the most is that they ran my credit check even tough the store manager knowingly that we wanted 12-mth and the items we wanted were clearance items. I saw and heard the salesperson telling him, multiple times, the items we wanted along with the total amount. While the store manager apologized, but he claimed that he still didnt know what we wanted to order, in his explanation (another lame excuse and flat-out lie). Had I known the 12-mth wasnt available to begin with, I wouldnt want to apply for credit. I am surprised Ashley would hire/keep an incompetent manager who fails to properly train the workers and use ignorance as excuse (didnt know what we order). If you are very concious about your credit score, please beware of their practice. Have never experienced anything like this at other furniture stores (granted they are not Ashley).

Friends and Family, DO NOT. I repeat DO NOT buy anything from Ashley Furniture Mart in Albertville!!! In January I bought a queen sofa sleeper to have a place for company to sleep. I also bought all of the warranties that came with it. Right away we noticed a rip in the seam of the queen mattress. Good thing I bought the warranty, NOT! 7 weeks later they scheduled a delivery of a new mattress, BUT the delivery guys brought a twin bed! Wrong size guys. So they took the queen bed and the twin making the couch unusable even for sitting. Call the sales guy, apologies apologies scheduled another delivery 7 weeks out because queen is apparently a custom size. Ok, GUESS WHAT??? They tried to deliver another twin bed!!!! Sales guy says Im so sorry, Ill have my manager call you tomorrow. No call. I called the manager, who was unapologetic, 5 days later. I tell him Im over it and come pick up this Damn couch. Ok, delivery guys will pick up in 3 weeks. That was TODAY! Kyle Thompson called this morning to be sure they were picking up, yes. Can I leave it outside because we will not be home, yes. Delivery guys call to find our address. Neighbor sees the delivery truck parked in front of our house. Guess what I find when I get home???? The couch is STILL on my front step. Absolutely disgusted! They deserve negative stars.

I bought a living room set and the anti-stain protection for another $200.00. They told me if any stains did not come out that they would send someone to clean it and if they couldnt clean it they would replace it. Six months later there was an accident on my couch. They sent a guy who pretended to clean it but then admitted he could not remove the stains. I called the home store but they refused to do anything. After 5 phone calls they sent one couch cushion with no covering on it (all three cushions were stained). I made several more calls and was told that was all they would do. I went to the home store in person and the manager refused to speak to us. We stood there for almost two hours waiting for the manager and then a salesperson put me on the phone with customer service. They were very rude and refused to do anything more. I bought a new couch from another company in the end. These people do not stand behind the stain protection they push and lied many times to get out of it. Eventually they stopped taking any calls from me. The stain protection is a scam and their customer service is abysmal! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE TO BUY FURNITURE!!

This place sells Junk. My bonded leather sofa and loveseat started to peel after about 1 year. soon after it started peeling all over. The counsel bonded mater rubbed of shortly after a year. It started peeling around the corners and its not even close to the wall. This furniture gets very little use as I am working or not often home. I also do not have kids and live with my girlfriend. This material is paper thin and made very cheap I paid 2k for it. My Headboard also was falling apart. Screws were all boarded out because it was made with no reinforcement paid 11K for the bedroom set. They did give me new headboard boards that had been updated at there cost because the obviously realized it was a bad design and updated it. Bought the Guardian Package and was told it would not cover wear and tear damage after there salesman told me I could sit on the furniture with a screwdriver in my pocket rip a whole in it and guardian would cover it. That was a waist of another $150 but I guess guardian would go out of business covering this cheaply made junk. In the end its also Guardians responsibility to not warranty junk if they want to stay in business.

Terrible experience .... Dont believe anything they say. We wanted a left hand version of a sectional. All smiles and promises of a delivery date of a few weeks. Had a call after a week of order advising a further 1-month delay A day before promised delivery another phone call they said everything was still on schedule. I go rid of my old furniture in anticipation of delivery. No call on delivery day so I rang and visited the store and just got excuses. Spoke to the manager a few days alter who said another month with no option of a refund! The last part of the sectional turned up 3 months after the order, I had around a month with garden furniture in our lounge! The place is Full of incompetent idiots who dont know how to work their computer system and are devoid of customer care once they have your money, the promise delivery dates are just fiction.., the delivery guys are great and the furniture is ok but its not worth the hassle, go somewhere else.

My husband & I were looking for a single reclining loveseat and Mark Heise was the easiest consultant we have ever worked with in any furniture store experience. We hate the typical vulture-like approach so many consultants use to the point we have walked out of stores even if we liked something. His approach to customer service needs to be studied & replicated throughout your stores. What we love more is that there was an older salesman who clearly didnt want to deal with us & our kids bc we didnt look like big spenders (we purposely down-dress when shopping to avoid appearing to be serious buyers in hopes to avoid vultures). We got that single reclining leather love seat & then returned the next week to buy the big matching couch. With an attitude & approach like Marks it actually made furniture shopping at Ashley enjoyable. He was present & extremely informative, but not a helicopter salesmen.
