The beginning of April I went in and Kyle Hunt was our salesman. I was just looking for a dining room table, and instead I purchased a dining room set, bedroom set, and living room set. I mentioned that I would be moving into my new place on April 16th and Id love to have it delivered on that day. During that week they called to set up a time for the 16th and I was pleased that this was going to work out (at least I thought it was going to) On the 15th Kyle called and said my bedroom set was damaged and that we could refund me some money and get new stuff ordered, I said ok thats fine. So then Saturday the 16th comes along and that morning I get a call from the warehouse saying that my dining set was damaged also. So they ordered me a new dining set as well. So my couch, love seat, mattess and box springs were delivered on the 16th. I decided that the couch and love seat would not fit right in my living room and wanted to swap out the loveseat for the matching chair. Kyle said he could do that and the order was put in. On the 17th my reclining couch was already broke. The right seat would automatically recline by sitting down. So then a call was put into service. Okay so now its Friday the 22nd and all of my wood furniture was finally being delivered. Well it was all delivered and still damaged. My nightstand m, bed rails, and dining set had to be ordered again. In the meantime I was still waiting for the chair and loveseat swap to happen as well as waiting on a tech to come fix my other couch. So service calls and schedules a time to come out. The day he was suppose to come out he called me that morning and said my daughter is sick and I wont be coming. I was furious, it was one thing after another. So Kyle ordered another couch. On May 13th everything was finally delivered and correct. Kyle credited my account for the delivery fee and also money off for the inconvenience and hassle that Ive had to deal with. Im undecided if I will ever do business with slumberland or not again after al of this. But I do know that if you have an issue Kyle will try everything in his power to make it right.

We ordered a new chair and ottoman on 02/12/2016, but the floor model was delivered on 02/29/2016. Upon discovery, due to obvious marks and tags, I called our salesperson, Kyle Hunt, whom apologized and promised a new one would be delivered. It was later discovered that our new items were already delivered to another customer, but we could keep the floor model until a new one could be swapped for it. After waiting two months, on 04/19/2016, we were told we could keep the floor model at a reduced price (partial refund) or receive a full refund and have the items picked up, but receiving a new item was not an option. This conflicts with my conversation with the manufacturer, Benchmaster (Ashley), whom stated Slumberland is able to order a single, new chair to provide for us. In turn, Benchmaster suggested we take our business to Slumberlands competitors (Homemakers), which is exactly what we have done, all while saving and additional 30-40% and being able to pick-up a new item the same day as the sale. The salesperson feels bad enough that he offered money out of his own pocket to maintain his reputation, but we feel this is out of his hands and is completely the fault of the corporation. We will no longer be using this company after we and our friends and families have used them exclusively for all past furniture purchases. This is after we gave them a second-chance after having delivery (late and damaged) issues with bedroom furniture last year. Save time and money by shopping at Homemakers instead.

All I can say is hope nothing goes wrong with the purchase and all that happens is a transaction and delivery. In general, will NEVER shop here again, even if they were giving away furniture. First off make sure you ask where the furniture is from, mine took several months to arrive(longer than they estimated)...apparently because it was from China. When it did finally arrive, we had several small marks, broken stitching hiding in the cushions and after a couple weeks the springs in one of the recliners was broken. Guy came out(who works for a repair company, not Slumberland) for free since it was within 30 days...the only positive part of the story. He said he fixed it(after tearing open the back of the furniture and stapling back together) and the stitching issue was my fault(??). He apparently did not fix it as we had the same issues several days later. Asked for different guy to come out, said the stitch was NOT our fault and didnt even try to fix the springs. Said, well get you a new piece. New piece was going to take weeks to arrive, of course. Called(took several calls, time and effort) to voice my complaint and they did agree to send a new whole piece of furniture...which we received months(not weeks) later. These are not even the details of the terrible customer service I experienced with 90% of people I spoke with when trying to resolve the issue.

I did not have a good experience unfortunately. I picked out a set of living room furniture, and paid half, about 2 months prior to needing it delivered. I went in about a week before I wanted it delivered, paid the second half, and told them when Id like it to be delivered. He said, "Ok, no problem, Ill have that set up for you." So I left. The day of the delivery, WHICH was the day before Christmas eve, the furniture never arrived, so I called and asked them where my furniture was. He accused me of lying and refused to fit me into the delivery schedule. I had a Christmas party scheduled the next day and had to go find a moving truck to rent, drive to the east side of dm, get the truck, drive to the warehouse clear on the other side of town, get the furniture, drive it to my house, unload it with only myself and husband, and then still return the truck. Keep in mind I had just moved into this house the day before and was exhausted. I did eventually get a Thank you/apology card in the mail with only $100 dollars for the truck rental expense. I will never step in that store again, and I advise everyone to go to HomeMakers. Did I mention that I never got one of the pillows for one of the couches? Yeah.....NOT happy.......considering that the couches I bought do not have fitted cushions for the back, only pillows.

We ordered a bed through them went and picked it up due to working late hours and having a child in sports we dont have time to wait around for someone to deliver it. The bed came to us with the wrong side rail so we called our sales man Scott. After trying to explain it forever that it was wrong and not us that we knew how to put a bed together we had to set up a delivery time for someone to look at it and fix it. Mean while I was told my son could sleep on the floor on his new mattress. Well just like i predicted the new piece was wrong the delivery guys told us to work it out with our salesman to which he told me our delivery guys were wrong they dont know anything and he doesnt understand why we cant seem to put it together right. A few choice words later and deciding the guy wasnt worth it I finally got a hold of a manager to which I am still waiting for them to fix the problem. It has been three weeks and my husband had to fix the bed and now we have an eight hundred dollar bed that looks like we found it on the side of the road all I can say is we will not be going back
