Stopped into the showroom in Jordan last week. I was planning to buy an entire patio set. I looked at one of the state fair discounts I had driven over an hour to see. It had been sold the day before. Of course that is not their problem, I should have called again that morning. The receptionist came to talk to me about it and said it was so popular the day before. (My husband had been the one calling :o) She then took two steps and asked about the one next to it, which I said was a little more than I wanted to spend. As soon as the receptionist found out that I didnt want the one right next to it (a different model) she quickly went back to the front desk. She then started talking with another employee who was making coffee and continued to do so the rest of the time I was in the store. No one bothered to qualify me or even try to help me find anything else once it was determined that piece had already sold. There were so many people working there, and only my son and I were in the store. We were there 40 minutes. We walked out after no one even bothere to talk to us again. Remember, we were the only ones in the store. I was so appalled by the service that I immediately sat in my car in the parking lot and did a contact us on their website. Again, no one has even bothered to respond. Their quality may be great, but customer service in store was terrible. Im not sure Ill ever go back...

I purchased a table and two chairs almost a year ago. Orginally a couple of the pieces from the table had to be replaced since there was a manufacturing defect. The company fixed that. I live in a very hot climate (Las Vegas). Earlier this year, there was another issue with a screw failing. The company, although hesitantly, also fixed that issue. It is now the height of summer with +110 degree temps and I am now having issues with multiple screws. The product and screws seem to be migrating (heating up) causing unstability. I know the website claims this product is good in any climate but, in my experience, it hasnt done well in the hot desert sunshine and heat. I do love the look of the product though. Notation to business response: Thank you for responding. I tried to call the telephone number you listed but it is the wrong number. I looked up your telephone number and left you a message and telephone number (with Jill) so you can look up my order and call. This furniture is fantastic. I would recommend this company if you are looking for lawn products. I bought the 48" Garden bench in weathered wood shade in 2008. My husband and I love it. It was very easy to assemble and we love sitting on it. We have it in an area under a group of trees at the back of our property. . It looks beautiful and we leave it there all the time, even snow and zero degree weather. The only maintenance is every once in a while we clean it. We were so pleased with it that in March of 2014 we purchased furniture for our front porch. We got the 48" Garden glider, 2 Garden chairs and a Prairie end table-all in Gray. We love them. They look great and are very comfortable to sit on. They are a bit expensive, but the investment is worth it because we were constantly buying cushions for our other furniture and they did not last long and cost a lot. This is a one time purchase that you will never regret making. We are very pleased with all of it.

I got Squirreled By The Yard and would not recommend this to anyone. I usually dont "hate" things, for real. Sad to see such a trendy idea fail due to the Squirrels taking on my Patio Table. The customer services was terrible and without any warning I experienced my $700 table ruined with embarrassing chew marks from Squirrels. By the Yard claims to be 30 year furniture and outdoor resistance but this is a joke. There was so service to our purchase but a final recommendation from their staff "You can get some pepper spray from your local hardware store, to apply to the furniture, some of our customers have been successful with this, or, our final recommendation is to get the squirrels away from the house, because they need to chew on something to sharpen their teeth." Our $3,000 order was delivered incorrectly, without notice. The two-tone table they show on their website came as a solid color. I was able to reach them by phone, and they said they would correct it for $48 pick-up fee plus a restocking fee if the table were damaged (which was delivered sight unseen), plus another $70 delivery fee for the replacement. They said their website does not allow you to choose the two-toned option, and that their website was being updated to allow that. Despite the acknowledgement, they still put the blame on us for misunderstanding their poorly-designed website. While their furniture seems nice, Id be reluctant to recommend them to others based on their wholly inept and contentious customer service.

My experience with by the yard has been nothing but positive. The service is excellent. They did what they said they would We have a table and chairs and 2 gliders. The quality of everything is superb. All of the things they make will stand up to anything you throw at it and all kinds of weather too. I recommend By the Yard whenever I can.

Im able to leave this stuff out in the cold winters and all I have to do is wipe it off and its ready to use for the Spring time. I love the furniture and the service has always been friendly and helpful. A locally grown Midwestern company that I would recommend to any of those looking for outdoor furniture.

Our glider swing bench is over 10 years old and still looks like the day we bought it. Weve sat in other less expensive furniture and it is not the same quality. Wed recommend you try the pieces out as there are many styles and fits. Love it.
