We purchased a sofa here on 11/8, and only from here as it was closer to our house. We had seen it at a few other competitors for near the same price, but BeckerMG was close to our house, so we stayed local with our purchase. Worst decision ever. After reading all these Google Reviews, the reviews of their employees on Glassdoor, and on other review sites, I wouldve never purchased anything here and have had a very similar experience to what you find online. We bought the couch on 11/8 with an estimated delivery time of 12/25 (quoted 5-6 weeks by the sales rep). We kept in touch a few times to make sure things were on track. Each time we called prior to 12/25 we were told everything was on schedule. 12/26 I call and all of a sudden our sales rep and the store manager have no clue where the sofa is and tell me that theyll contact me on Friday (3 days later) because they all have the next few days off. I got ahold of a store lead on 12/28 and found out that the shipment had been delayed by the manufacturer until 1/7, which means delivery to the store on 1/15, and delivery to our house who knows when. After being quoted 5-6 weeks, they now admit itll be 10 weeks before it hits the store, much less my living room. The sales rep was giving me the runaround, so I called and asked to have the store manager call me back. He turned that into having the sales rep call me back again. So I escalated this over his head to their "roaming store manager" who was total garbage. Mr. Lego spent the 30 minutes we spoke convincing me that I was in the wrong, and that I was under contract and had no recourse against them, and since they were "at the mercy of the vendor" (heard this line about 100 times) that there was nothing they could do. When I said I was totally fed up with their style of doing business, they offered me free shipping and their crappy Montage protection plan (read the reviews...they send people out, photograph all the stuff they say they cover, call it wear and tear, and dont do anything). I asked for my money back and he again reminded me we were under their terrible contract and I could do nothing. Do not buy anything from these people unless you can carry it out of the store yourself otherwise theyll hold your money and send you the stuff whenever they feel like it. I expect once my stuff arrives, theyll offer me terrible early morning delivery times as well, in order to keep in line with the already horrendous service they offered. Never again will I buy from this place. My in-laws had an equally terrible experience that I wish I had been privy to before walking into this place. Never in my life have I been so disrespected during a business transaction. Best friends until they get your money, punching bag once its in their bank account. Do yourself a favor and take your money to one of the very near by furniture retailers that actually respect their customers and dont make every excuse in the book to keep the sale on their books. Update 1.23.17 - After having to move this complaint up the chain a ways at Becker, they did finally offer us a full refund. Not only should we not have had to deal with this poor treatment in the first place, but we shouldnt have had to chase people up the corporate ladder to find someone who would give us the time of day and deal with our poor treatment in a manner that was worthy of someone who has been a patron of your business. We did take our refund and bought the exact same sofa at another retailer, for the same price, and theyve scheduled delivery with us within 10 days of purchase. Our "custom" sofa will be delivered within 20 total days of purchase. This is the type of effort Becker should provide to their clients in order to keep their business.

We bought a house so we needed some furniture. Back in February I thought we found a great furniture store. This store has reasonable prices and most importantly most of the furniture matched my taste. It was such a mistake to step in to this store! For once, we did not have any issues with delivery as most of the people complain. However, what a mistake it was to buy a mattress from this store. First, sales people are not clear and up from about mattress return policy, then management makes you play phone tags with them for over a month, afterwards they literally lie to you (which now when I think back Diana, a manager, has lied to us couple times during our conversations with her) and finally they flatly tell you that they cannot exchange the mattress because it is special order mattress. How am I suppose to know that I bough a special order mattress or what they call special order? I would never expect anyone to understand special terms we use in my job so why would they expect us to know it? I would have never bough a mattress if I knew I cannot exchange it. It is scary to think that reading tax treasury regulations is easier that store return policy. It is amazing how this company does not care about customers. The store manager was just terrible. He came to us with this attitude, treated us as we are stupid and he cannot understand why we are here complaining. We still need to buy few more items for our house but now I will have to go to the other stores.

We went there to look at some beds, ended up buying the mattress as well. Were promised that everything was going to be delivered in three weeks, and they would call the next day to confirm the delivery. Four day went by, no phone calls, I had stopped by to find out what was going on. Service desk told me that I can talk to only sales person, which wasnt working that day, and was promised the phone call the very next day. Three days later, no calls. My wife ended up calling the store, trying to get in touch with sales person, we were directed to her voice mail, two days later, nobody returned the massage. My wife called again, and asked for the manager this time, and magically, our sales lady picked up the phone, wondering what was all the fuss about, she sounded like she was annoyed, told us that delivery was pushed back another week(thats after we waited already 9 days). Next day I had received another call from the same lady, she had said that our bed was not going to be delivered for another 6 weeks, there was back order on it, and the bed was in N.Carolina, so she told me that I needed to be a little patient. Needless to say that I had cancelled the entire order and went elsewhere. Sales Person in Maple Grove MN location is Barbara, this lady will tell you anything to make a sale, mostly lies, her customer service on surface is nice, but thats where it ends. If you would like to be lied to, this is the place to go, dont expect me to be your company, EVER.

Nice products and location is much more convenient than driving to Becker. However the customer service is terrible. We scheduled a delivery date when we purchased our furniture, but furniture never showed. After calling to find out what happened we were told an item wasnt in and a new date had to be scheduled. This was inconvenient, but no other options if we wanted our furniture. When we were able to "reschedule" we were given a delivery window of 9 in the morning till 8 at night. Asked if we could request delivery later in the day and was told no. Not only did we take time off for the missed delivery, but now we were scrambling the second time because they couldnt accommodate a late delivery and told us they were coming in the morning at 10. On top of that, we had an issue with one of our pieces regarding a function of the item that wasnt explained to us by the salesman in the store. I contacted the store in hopes of doing a simple exchange and have been met with nothing but confrontation and resistance. Nobody seems to be able to help and a lot of blame is being put on ownership policy and management by the representatives I am speaking with. Bottom line, I would not recommend spending your money here. Too many other places you can purchase furniture from.
