Angie was the sweetest most accommodating person in the building. The owner, Im assuming, an older man with white hair, upon my first day, directed me inside to look for Angie, but didnt walk me in nor introduce himself. The lady at the front desk- much less keen on customer service. Day one of three I could see the forced smile. Day two of three, she was okay, though it was after hours I gave the benefit of a doubt as Angie had been willing to let me look at a vehicle for a second time. Day three, she was very impersonal, and certainly caused me to not want to return ever again. They seem to have a rotation of nice cars. I was looking for something well underpriced and they had a vehicle I was specifically looking for. Though it took a couple days, Angie was able to have a few things looked at and allowed me to have dibs on the vehicle as I was 30 minutes away and could only arrive after work, 30 minutes before the dealership closed. I put some cash down to hold the vehicle over the weekend. Unpleasant lady at the front desk insisted on knowing for sure that I was going to purchase the vehicle on Monday, as were my intentions, after having my wife look at the vehicle Sunday in the lot. An emergency arose over the weekend which caused me to pull out of the sale(and will prevent me from any purchase anywhere for the next few months). When I called to notify my decision to pull out, the unpleasant front desk lady immediately took offense and questioned my reason. While it was certainly none of her business, I amused her with my reason. Her barking reply was asking when Id return to pick up my cash. When I arrived 30 minute prior to close, the whole family(Id assume), was sitting in the front, no one spoke a word upon my entering; I announced I was pick up my cash on the vehicle, and the attitude from the unpleasant lady was unnecessary. I was hoping to keep this dealer in mind when I resumed my search after replenishing my money, but the stale experience of the two overpowered the awesome personality of one.

The worst experience at a car dealership I have ever had. I was looking for a decent used car, and they had one that was in decent shape. The lady I spoke to first was very pleasant and helped me with any questions or issues I had with the car. I was able to take the car for at test drive, and I liked the car. When I returned I went into the office to discuss the test drive with the woman at the front desk (different person from before). We began discussing my issues, and I brought up that I wanted to take the car to my mechanic. They told me that since the car was old, they would not allow me to do that! They told me I could bring a mechanic, but would not allow me to take it to get it checked out. I know the mechanic would probably find something wrong because it was an old car, but I just wanted to make sure there wasnt something that would end up costing me an arm and a leg to get fixed. I told them that I would not buy a car without having my mechanic look at it, and the owner chimed in and told me that "You shouldnt buy this car then". I understand they work in a business where "time is money" and the profits on the car are probably slim, but to flat out turn away business is extremely unprofessional. You should never go here to buy a car! I will not be looking for a car here ever again. I hope in the future they are more friendly and maybe I would be willing to go back there. Just awful.

Awful service. Awful car. I was in the market for a vehicle, and I had received recommendations from friends and family for this dealership. I picked out two cars that I wanted to look at a little more closely at the dealership and took them both for a test drive and to my local mechanic shop(Their workers certifications). The car was in the condition I expected, but it had rust on all of the interior metal, the shop explained that it meant there was probably some sort of water damage. I took this information to the dealer as bartering fuel. The dealer became visibly upset and then told me he refused to sell me a car, without discussing price further. Furthermore- he told me to leave. What an awful thing to do! I am pretty offended by this blatant disregard of common courtesy. I had the most awful experience and will not be recommending this dealership to anyone. Rude and Offensive, with vehicles with hidden problems.

Over the past few years my family and I have bought several vehicles from these guys. Ive bought two cars here myself and I highly recommend doing business with them. Both vehicles I bought were very clean and ran well. I actually just sold the first car I bought from them about a year ago to my cousin (a 98 Honda Accord) with over 200,000 miles on it. Im in the market for another vehicle and even though I currently live in Louisville, KY, I plan on traveling to Michigan to do business with Red Cedar. They are fair, honest and up front with you and you know exactly what you are getting when you drive off the lot.
