Stay away! I purchased my wedding gown here on March 26th, 2016 but I seriously regret it and strongly encourage you to take your business elsewhere. I purchased a "discounted" Aire Barcelona dress during a "trunk show" but now know that I was seriously overcharged!! I was pressured into buying the dress the day of the trunk show because I was told that I was receiving almost $500 in discounts which were good only that day. The bridal consultant told me the initial price of the dress was $3,295 but that I would get 10% off because it was part of the trunk show bringing the price down to $2,965 and then they offered "match" the 10% discount and take another $200 off (which is not 10% btw) making the sale price $2,795. I later learned that the $200 discount is also offered if you purchase a dress the first day you come to their store. I was under the impression that if I didnt buy the dress from them that day it would cost me over $500 to buy it later. Little did I know that the initial quote they gave me was almost $1,000 over the retail price and that the "discounted" price I paid was still $400 more than the price of the dress at other bridal salons. Here are the facts: The dress I purchased was the Amelie 2015 Aire Barcelona dress in natural size 36 and the purchase price at Bella Bridal was $2,795. After $167.90 sales tax the total was $2,962.90. They require a 60% non-refundable deposit to place the order so I paid $1,800 the day I ordered the dress. I later found the same dress at Kotsovos Bridal in Cincinnati for $2,363 and at Mira Couture in Chicago for $2,365. At Bella Bridal it was $3,295! Discounted to the final price of $2,795. I feel so taken advantage of...I tried to renegotiated the price of the dress with them and even cancel my order but they would not work with me. Im not going to share all the messy details with you but I will give you a little more background information. At the start of my appointment the bridal consultant required that I fill out an index card with details including my budget. I initially left it blank, but she asked me to fill it in and I put down $3500 because it was the first time I was shopping with my mom and sister and I didnt want to limit the type of designers and styles I could try on. I seriously regret putting such a high amount down on that card. You also might want to know that when I picked up my dress in September they told me that alterations start at $750! Buyers beware, you have been warned!

I was very excited to go to Bella Bridal as I was a referral. I had picked out a few dresses I wanted to try on. As I started trying on the dresses I let them know that they were too "poofy" or "blingy" for my liking. I am only 5 feet tall so they were all over taking me. When they asked where I had previously been to try on dresses I told them to which they responded "We have designer dresses here". This was very upsetting as I had found a dress there that I loved. After this they continued to put me in dresses that were exactly what I said I didnt want. They asked me to describe the dress I had already found and after I did they made another rude comment. The owner(I believe that is who she was) said to me "Thedress you are in makes you look like a bride. Not all dresses do that. Some dresses look like prom dresses". I found this comment to be extremely rude it doesnt matter where you get your dress from or if it is a designer dress, you still look like a bride! After this I began to get very overwhelmed. They began to get pushy with the dresses I was trying on. They were trying to talk me into liking them. I began to get discouraged and started thinking I would never find a dress. I decided to leave and they gave me the information on the 3 dresses I kinda liked. The interesting part though was that my preferred budget was $2000 with alterations but I wanted to try on a dress I found online that was $2800. The consultant did not want me to try this dress on and I had to ask multiple times. Then at the end of the visit I found out the dress they were trying to talk me into buying was $2300 and the other 2 were around $2000. So they were rude to me about wanting to try on a dress over my budget yet they were only putting me in dresses over my budget prior to alterations! I had a terrible experience and would not recommend this shop. They are over priced and extremely pushy. Luckily I decided to go back to my first appointment to try the dress on again and purchased it from them! Even though its not a "big time designer dress", it is beautiful and perfect and I will look like a bride!

I first called Bella to see if they had a dress in the store to try on. I was told by a young lady that the dress that I was looking for was not in the store but I could get it in the store for $89. I then asked what happened if I did not like the dress and I was told that I could use the money towards any other dress in the store. She also told me that the designer of the dress I was interested in, was having a trunk show in November. I called the store again a week later and got a man on the phone. I asked him how the trunk shows worked and he asked what dress I was interested in. I told him and he told me that I didnt have to wait for the trunk show that the dress was in the store. He even double checked. He was very helpful, but then I felt like the girl that I talked to on the phone the first time was trying to rip me off. Not sure about the store already, I made an appointment to go to the store anyway. I walked in and the girl that was helping me was very nice and said I could look through the dresses to try on anything that I wanted. As I was looking through the dresses, I noticed how filthy and beat up the dresses were. I know if I were to order a dress that it would not come in that way, but not a good impression. I tried on the dresses that I had picked out, and the one that I wanted to go there for to try on in the first place. While I was trying on, I got nothing but nasty looks from the old lady and girls behind the counter. It was not a very welcoming place. The girl that was helping me didnt even want to write down the designer and style numbers of the dresses that I liked for me. I would never buy my dress from them. I was also told they they couldnt order a dress of a designer that they so called carried that I had tried on at another store. Not sure what that was about. I really think that maybe I was not the type of girl that they wanted to sell a dress to, even though 95% of the store was under my budget.
