I needed to buy a green shirt for St. Pattys Day to wear for work. I found and bought the only green shirt in my size (out of 3 green shirts total in any size). That isnt my complaint though. The problem is is that Nordstroms shirts (their label) are incredibly poor quality. I got home and washed the shirt for work the next day. When I went to iron it in the morning, it would NOT iron out. I tried to iron it 3 times and steamed it twice all to no avail. The shirt would not de-wrinkle. When I went to return it right after work (I wore it for 2 hours until my roommate could bring me another from home), they told me since it was worn they wouldnt take it back. While the supervisor could definitely have been more friendly (she wasnt) thats not what disappointed me either. It was the fact that you do not stand behind your product at all, even though it is literally your brand. Any other store I have ever shopped at would have taken it back no problem or at the very least, and I mean very least, have offered me store credit and apologized. I left the shirt with them despite not getting a refund since I cant wear wrinkled clothes at work so it was useless to me. Word of warning to any men buying shirts at Nordstrom rack, do not buy their brand. They are unfortunately very cheap and they dont seem to really care about that or their customers. Van Heuson shirts are cheaper and made much better.

“Terrible Customer Service and Return Polciy!” - While shopping, I noticed a $400.00 pair of Magnanni shoes priced down to $179.97. I was in need of a new pair of dress shoes so o figured that they were a steal! I purchased the shoes on 6/14/16 and I wore them for the first time on 6/19/16. I realized today that the leather on toes of the shoes was absolutely shriveled off! As anyone else would do, I returned to the store and attempted to return them. The clerk immediately said "Nope, I cant take those back!" Without even looking at them thoroughly. She then continued to call me a liar and told me that shes "dealt with people like me before". What does that mean? She took them to the manager and without the manager even coming out to confront me, the clerk returned saying "Theres no tags, we cant return them, bye bye!" I told her no one wears shoes with the tags on and showed her the glue from the tags is still there! She didnt bother to look and continued saying "Ive seen this gimmick before, bye bye". Me being a gentlemen, I told her Id contact the store manager and left while her co-worker apologized to me for her incompetence. After calling the store, the same manager declined to return the shoes! This is absurd! I will no longer shop at the Nordstrom Rack in Troy, MI.

The store in its merchandise is great, except for the fact that it is not very much organized. The one in Lake Orion is a lot better in terms of display, ease to walk through and organization of merchandise. Another thing that i have noticed since last two three times is, that as soon as i enter the store, one of the sales or other staff member, (one in particular, short hair, tall) walks to me and keeps staring until iam out of the store. This is very weird and makes me so uncomfortable. Does not matter if i am shopping with my daughter, husband or alone, he gives me weird look!! If any of the managers is reading this, they need to figure it out n probably let me know as well. I like the store for easy access as i been shopping here for almost 3 plus years. Giving it 1 star just beacuse of the weird stare i get !!! If i had to ignore the stare aspect probably would give 4 stars despite of the other things!

I dont know what the problem is with this store but it is one of the sloppiest stores I have ever been to. Everytime I visit for clothes I have to give up because the clothing section is so disorganized. It is usually a madhouse and you basically can barely move around near the dress area. Im not sure why they are in such a small space (I have never seen a Marshalls or TJ Maxx in such a small building), but Im sure it contributes to the disorganization in your store. I always feel like Im in a thrift store because of the stuff being so disorganized. But it sounds like it is more of a corporate issue with all the bad business decisions that are coming down. Now I have an even better reason to avoid your cluttered store.

Carpet Guys

The checkout line felt like it took a year-and-a-half to get through and it was just a normal Tuesday not a holiday shopping weekend or anything like that. The customer service was great but I really needed to just buy a pair of shoes and get in and out but it took me 45 minutes which did not make me very happy. I do really appreciate the customer service though because the woman who helped me at the counter was very nice helpful and informative.

I love shopping at Nordstrom Rack. They recently changed the layout of the store so its a bit disorienting after being used to how it was. The shoes section is much more cramped, but I think thats due to the influx of clothes and space for the clothes. Ive never really met a worker outside of the fitting room or check out lines, but they all seem pretty nice. This store has a great selection of merchandise.

Really good prices, just make sure you know what youre looking for before you go in. My only con was that at the register they asked for my email and when I asked them to please not add me to a mailing list they assured me it was only to mail my receipt in case it was lost; cool with me but then i started getting emails from them on a regular basis, really guys? other than that, will definitely be back :)

I was yesterday around 6pm looking for a dress and two of the female employes in the floor working.....the whole time complaining and how they have the worst customers and they are sloppy and weird people!!!!! .....this is the conversation they were having with each other while they were putting close in rags...so I left bc I felt uncomfortable Anyways they do have nice stuff here and their!!

I can spend hours shopping here and they also offer alterations and silly me forgot that I had not picked up a Calvin Klein blouse and when I was with my husband and having his pants cuffed the lady remembered me and got my blouse for me. If you love quality clothing and accessories this is a great place to go and browse. Of course since its Nordstrom the shoes are to die for ☺

Great place for deals on apparel. That is if you have the patience for hunting around mildly organized racks of clothes. The staff isnt around much to help in the mens section Ive noticed. Cashiers keep the usually long lines moving rather quickly.

It gets busy, but its so worth it! Luxurious brands for a very affordable price. I get elegant dresses, accessories, shoes, and clothes for baby for 1/4 of the original price. Youre guaranteed to walk out with a purchase every time you go in.
