Based on reviews, I called, spoke with Samantha. She took time to talk to me; I told her I needed sleeves, she said no problem. Drove an hour to get there and she was waiting with dresses. The gown I chose was $700, only alterations were hemming, bra inserts and sleeves. Since it was August I told her there was no rush, wedding was in November. After 1 month I called, she said they had been busy but would be calling in a week. After another month I called and made appt. For fitting. The dress looked different, sleeves were godawful. Anything I expressed concern about I was overtalked. Im almost 70 yrs old, do not buy gowns. I took dress to a seamstress friend who found that the hem had only been sewn on 1 side, other side was raw fabric; inserts were put in but bodice was not resewn, waistline was taken apart & raw fabric was sticking out and sleeves were ready to fall off because they were single stiched to the beads. Pics were taken and Im paying to have dress fixed. i called Star, thinking it was an isolated incident & wanting to be reimbused for repairs. She was indignant, kept talking over me, just like at the fitting. I kept asking her to please let me finish but she wouldnt. She kept saying I was accusing them yet I wasnt. Was the dress defective? It fit perfect when I bought it! They cut the dress, why wasnt it hemmed? She refused to listen to me at all like I ruined my own dress! She just kept coming at me, speaking in a shrill voice. I didnt want my money back, just repairs paid. I believe my dress sat around and someone tried to do a rush job. I will be seeing them in court!!!

(Summary: Something for everyones budget, tons of dresses, and angels for employees. I wont go anywhere else from now on) There is nothing but good things to say about this place. When I went looking for prom dresses, I stumbled across this place as a complete accident. Me and my mother had been looking at different stores for hours and found nothing but small selections of dresses and rude, pushy, store employees. Then we found this place. When we first walked in, we were greeted by welcoming faces and helpful attitudes. Were were then left to look at the dresses in peace, selecting the ones I wanted to try on... Then when I did actually start to try them on, the ladies had nothing but compliments and honest opinions, which was nicely refreshing (considering the last store we had been in, the man who helped us was quite rude). One of the last dresses I tried on, everyone fell in love with. The only problem was that it was just a bit too small. Normally, this would be disheartening and discouraging, but not here! They found out they had the same dress in the right size, 20 minutes down the road, and the lady helping us went and brought it back. The dress fit perfect and everyone who saw me in it loved it. This is the only store I will go to from now on, and then my sister after me. The women here are so helpful and kind, there are an obscene amount of beautiful dresses, and they honestly have something for everyone. They truly made my whole prom experience perfect.

I went in here looking for a prom dress. im a bigger build for typical girls my size (51 and 125 lbs) since i am a fitness competitor and have a lot more muscle than most girls. i pulled 4 dresses and one was a size 2. Once a worker saw it, she goes "honey you are not a seize 2." As we were taking the dresses to a fitting room, she turns to me and says "you see those other girls trying on dress? those are size 2, not you." I tried on a size 8 and really liked it. Me and the worker were talking about ordering it and i mentioned how i would like a size 6 since the 8 was already big on me. she said not to order the 6 because i would definitely not fit it. I then explain, "i weight lift and eat healthy everyday. however im in a bulking season so im eating to literally get myself fat. In a month im starting a cutting season to prep for a competition. Ill be dropping my body fat percentage a lot lower and will be a size smaller by prom." She then said "Thats what every girl says and never loses the weight and neither will you. You dont want to be too fat for your dress. Order the 8." I then replied "well considering I weight train and eat healthy everyday i wouldnt have a problem. Im not like most other girls, and Im purposely making myself bigger right now." I was extremely disappointed and could not believe how unprofessional and rude this women was because i was not your typical size 2. I would not recommend shopping at that store to anyone I know.

I am really glad that we decided to come here. My daughter and I werent sure where to start, but after reading the reviews, we thought we would see what is was like. The place was somewhat busy but it was worth going there. There were many prom dresses to choose from, many styles, many colors. And, when you were ready to try on a dress, the ladies there were always there to help you. They always made sure they were right there when you opened your dressing room door. Wonderful people and funny I have to add. My daughter did not know what she was looking for but once she started trying on different styles, the ladies were quick to help find the right dress! There are only two dressing rooms but it still wasnt too bad waiting to get in and try on the dresses. While waiting, it was kind of fun watching the other girls in their "prom dress to be". This also gave us some ideas as well being able to see what other dresses looked like on other people. All in all, it was a trip well worth it. There were some people there that drove an hour or two. We drove about an hour. We are happy. Oh by the way, the ladies there are really really nice. Thank you Stars Fashion & Bridal!!!

These ladies are amazing! i went in looking for a dress for a wedding that was the next week.. they showed me lots of beautiful dress options in my price range. they were never pushy and only showed me more expensive dresses when I wanted to increase my price range. Samantha and her mom were super patient with me and were very diligent with everything. I never once felt rushed or An inconvenience. When I finally found the right dress I ended up having to order it for the right size. Even though I had to have the dress in a week they never hesitated on ordering it for me and assured me it would not be an issue and it would be in on time. It came in right on time and was called as soon as it came in. I was offered alternations if needed which is included in the price of the dress and I even bought my jewelry there as well. It was honestly the best experience from start to finish. they treated me more like a long time friend than just a customer! No doubt I will be back again. Love Samantha and her momma! ❤
