Been stopped shopping there. Dont like places that shove cards down my throat just to get a decent price. People need jobs out here. Job fair was really hyped up and they wont hire people who live down the street, family members, or people who have been fired. Who hasnt been fired before? Anyway, they just dont compare to Meijer and Walmart in shopping or pay. Moving to the old Kmart wont make them any better.

Im new to Southgate, I used to go to Meijers in Taylor, not any more! I got tired of standing in the check out longer than it took to shop for items. I talked to store managers 3 different times, to no avail. I love Krogers, their employees are friendly and very helpful. When their store is very busy, I still dont have to wait. Great experience, they care. Nice job!

This has been my go to store for the past 15 years. I am actually saddened that I will not be shopping there any longer. And I will be encouraging family and friends to stop shopping there as well. Bill, the manager, fired a very close family friend after she took time off for her fathers death. What kind of a business does that? Way to go Bill!

The place is a dump. Dirty. Good Lord the bottle return area is disgusting. Always lots of carts in the parking lot, which floods whenever there is a moderate rainstorm. The store just looks like no one cares about how it looks. Very sad. They are allegedly going to relocate to a Marketplace store so hopefully well see great improvements.

My only complaint today was the deli counter - if you dont like your job maybe its time to find another. Im sorry you were "out of" the 2 things I asked for, even though the items were right there (display items evidently...) I cheerfully accepted your suggestion for alternative choices, maybe you were hoping Id just go away instead.

I wemt through the self scan.. as i was scanning my food products.. the attendant needed screen popped up.. than the attendant did everthything but call us theives... excuse me.. there were 250.00 in groceries already scanned.. and i didnt get to the meats yet... ha thats ok ill take that business elsewhere.. big time shame

Great selection of natural/organic items. Good quality produce. We like to buy on sale because the regular prices can be a bit high. Get the app and you can load coupons onto your plus card! Also, this Kroger has a gas station, so you can do your shopping and then use your points to get a discount on your gas.

I ordered a cake over the phone to the bakery and the staff was so polite and helpful with making the cake which I envisioned come true. When the cake was presented, everyone was in awe of how pretty the cake was and even more with how delicious the cake was. I will recommend this store to others.

Specifically asked the deli person about the date on the 2 pounds of turkey I got for myself and my father. She assured me that it had just been opened. Very much my fault for not looking in the store, but when I got it home, the package date and sell by date were the same.

The stores layout, i.e. where to find items is very hard to get used to. I ask other shoppers where certain items are. Instead of having very long isles, there is a break in the middle and maybe it;s a good thing, but I am just not used to it.

Definitely one of the better Krogers in the area. The store is organized efficiently and always clean. The self check outs tend to work better too. Plus they have the gas station right there for cheaper gas!
