While Im not always confident that Plums prices are compatible to area grocery stores, their service and quality are truly superb! Their produce is stunning, and you can usually find interesting, obscure and unusual fruits and veggies never seen in other stores! The wine selections are incredible, and even a dear friend who has worked for years in wine distribution has fits over Plums prices. As a member of five different California, Washington, and Oregon wine clubs, I have found that shipped wine prices, even at member discounts, are frequently on par with Plums prices when shipping and handling are figured in. Crazy! Besides, Plum has Master Sommelier Madeline Triffon, one of the finest wine experts in the freakin WORLD!! I need say no more... Plums wines are fabulous! As for their seafood and meats, Plums offerings and staff are exceptional, and if youre feeling lazy and just want your dinner made for you, their specialty prepared foods, albeit pricey, are wonderful! If your are looking for cost-efficient groceries, well, yeah, you should be doing your shopping at Meijers or Costco. If however you want splendid product quality, marvelous service, and exceptional meats, produce, and seafood... (oh my, did I forget about their ridiculous CHEESE department?!) ... yeah, Plum hits it outa the park!

The selection of local, or unique items is good, but definitely on the more expensive end of the spectrum. However, their selection of unique, and somewhat difficult-to-find items is very good. Its a good location in the Detroit suburbs to get Zingermans Bakehouse and Avalon Bakery products. Sale prices are good, and the apothecary has a great selection of healthy oils and cosmetics. The customer service desk itself could use some improvement in the "customer service" department, as they are not the most friendly of people, though this seems unique to this location only. They stock a selection of Sees chocolates, a modest floral department, as well as paper goods (greeting cards, napkins, small home-goods, and even childrens books/games) which makes Plum Market a destination for last-minute gift-giving. A prepared hot food bar, bakery, Mon Jin Lau sushi, Swirlberry fro-yo, coffee bar and cafe/wine bar make this a fun place to stop if you need a quick drink or bite. Download their app and use the in-app coupons to get the most value for your dollar. Its a charming place to shop for your home and pantry, but will set you back more than the average amount if you stock your entire pantry from their pretty aisles.

Every time I visit Franklin and its surrounding areas, I stop in here. The quality of everything from the fresh produce to variety of dairy choices to its bakery is set at a much higher bar than other grocery stores nearby--the prices reflect this, as they should. If organic, local foods is a top priority, this is your go-to place. Artisan cheeses, delicious hot bars, great assortments of vine, etc. The best part about this place however, is its bake shop. Not being a huge fan of sweets, I usually browse and look but rarely crave any type of cake when Im usually out a random groceries. With a great smile and warm attitude, the friendly pastry maker took time out to ask what I usually liked and explained her favorites as well. I took home a full-sized cake that night and another few times throughout my last visit to Michigan.

I usually shop at West Bloomfield location or Ann Arbor (love both places), on the rear occasion I stop by by the store in Bloomfield Hills. It is by far worse store compare to other two. From employees the act like they doing you a favor (not all, some), to shopper (snobbiest people I’ve had encountered.) In my opinion it is symbiotic relationship one feeding another. My experience with Deli depart is the most disappointing, this store should send deli counter employees to West Bloomfield store for training.

Its a clean and nice place for speciality foods. I like their seafood section with wild caught fish. The only thing that I dont like about this place is how their price labels are always misplaced. The price is always a couple of dollars more at the checkout from what you see on the shelf and some of the items have prices on the item and not on the shelf and if you dont look carefully, you may end up paying $7 for half loaf of bread and $9 for 6 slices of smoked turkey like I did!

Love Plum! Definitely a little pricy - but they carry brands most supermarkets - even the fancy ones - dont. They stock zingermans, compartes and mast brothers chocolate, Sees Candy, a wide variety of local coffee and Detroit Corridor sausage - not to mention their wonderful prepared food section, huge salad and soup bar and wonderful (but very expensive) meat department. Plum also has a great craft beer and wine selection!!

Expensive, since Hillers closed its the only place for some less common products. Youll easily pay 25% more for products that Kroger or Buschs carries. They have a decent liquor selection, but again: prices higher than most places. Annoyances like their RFID payment (Apple Pay and similar) only working with AmEx cards are just the cherry on the cake of frustration.

Everyone will think it is a fancy market. However, the fruits and veggies are NOT fresh. We bought a box of raspberry for $5 but we literally had to throw them away within 48 hours. The celery is so old and it is too hard to chew. Everything else, even their broccoli looks very old and not fresh. We will never go back again.

Fantastic selection. There are several things I come here to get, which i cant get anywhere else. I especially love the European selection, homeopathics, and the Sees Candies (being a California native). Their produce is always pristine.

Really like their offerings, unfortunately they no longer offer Carols Cookies. Carols Cookies are phenomenal. They replaced the cookies with another GF cookie - how many different types GF cookies does a store need to offer?

What to say Plum market are synonymous of great quality. Its definitely expensive, but great wine selections and a lot of deals can be found. I shop there when Im looking for prime ingredients with which to cook from scratch.

Love the food selections for produce, freshly prepared items, soups, and bakery. Their seafood and meat counters are abundant in variety and freshness. The store is bursting at the seams with healthy or selective items.

Best wine selection around and best prices for them! Decent deli selection, just a lil pricey for me. Great dessert options, mmm pink elephant cupcakes. Atmosphere is a lil stuck up but thats who the cater to...

I stop by here on my way home occasionally to buy beer. I like that they sell lesser known brands of groceries, but basically its just a grocery store for rich people who think more expensive means better ;-)

More of an artisan food store with unique options. The quality of food is always fresh and they have options to accommodate most diets! It can be a bit costly however.

Grossly overpriced! Awful selection of food. The organic greens are small, limp, and discolored. Go across the street to Kroger, get the same stuff for a lot less!!

Outstanding selection of unique items. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The wine prices compete with any place in town.

Quality is good and you will get a lot of options and good items but I feel everything is overpriced compared to the quality
