The store itself is clean, with clearly marked isles, & has great products (including their meats, which I am leary about at any non-conglomerate store... such as Farmer Jacks, Kroger, Aldi, etc.). The only reason I knocked off that last star is the perpetual inhabitants of the store. I cant be 100% sure... but its my personal belief that the shopping populace, at any given time, is approximately 40% foreign nationals, 40% "Im too lazy to walk and shop for my diabetes inducing foodstuffs, so Im going to pour my sad, gelatinous self into the carts made for people with actual medical issues, that prevent them from walking,... and proceed to block the whole isle, while breathing heavily with excitement, thru an open mouth, at the seasonal edition of little debbies Zebra Cakes... or some similar item.... 10% regular... You & I types... and... now Im not sure if its due to yoga studios in the area, or stripper homes in the area... but the last 10%... seems to be made up entirely of 20 somethings, in Very, Very tight yoga pants.... But seriously, its a good store,... but if you can help it... try to go after 8p.m.... hardly anyone there....

I had quite a few items to purchase for a trip we were going on the next day. I am a regular Kroger shopper, but not at this one. I stopped here on my way home at night, because it was convenient. I found this store more difficult to find items in. It did not carry the same bigger selection of products that I am accustomed to at other Krogers. My biggest concern is that when I walked out of the doors at 10:00 p.m., there were absolutely no parking lot lights on. I felt unsafe, constantly watching over my shoulder as I loaded my many groceries into my car. I will not be going back to this Kroger. The only positive is that my cashier and bagger were very friendly. If this Kroger wants to keep customers, you need to make sure your lights are working properly and also improve your selection.

We ordered chicken 24 of BBQ chicken and 24 piece of baked chicken and potatoes wedges from the Deli the day before. Order was not ready. First they tried to tell me I ordered it at the wrong Kroger. Then they found the order but the person who took the order didnt put it in the the right day. Nothing worse then ordering a large amount of food for a group of people and then not have it! They made the chicken which was fried chicken and I waited for 40 minutes. They said it would take 20. I agreed to wait for it because I figured it would take me 20 minutes if I ordered pizza so I said ok Ill wait. They did give it to me for half price BUT I didnt get what I wanted I had to take what they had! We order something twice a month. might rethink that one and try a new place!

I always prefer Kroger over Meijer. Ive come at all hours of the day and rarely do you ever have to wait in line. If you do, its only briefly. Not sure if its a result of better mgmt, faster cashiers or both. They also have baggers which im sure helps speed the process. My complaint: the baggers or cashiers ALWAYS forget to put groceries in the cart and today was no exception. I have three receipts saved from the past month that need to be taken in to retreive my items. Its getting ridiculious. Oh, and they never stock the xl boxes of store brand Columbian coffee. Aside from those complaints Kroger is our go to store!

There were a few things that were completely sold out and also there wasnt a lot to select from in the meat department. If Im going to pay a higher price for my groceries then I would appreciate more cuts/packages to chose from not the 4 or 5 packages that is normally being offered. The cashiers need baggers so their lines dont get 5,6 or more customers backed up in line. I want to make Kroger my new go to place for groceries but not if Im going to receive the same problems that made me leave Meijer. Empty shelves, out of sale items continually, and bad customer service.

Great staff and location. Its a very neat and clean store also. I would give it 5 stars except for the many, many times I go in to the store to get 4or 5 things and instead, I get 1 out of 5 things because they are out of stock on a lot of the items that are on sale (especially around the holidays). I would recommend shopping here just about anytime EXCEPT near a major holiday. Youll only get about 1/3 to 1/2 of the items you need or want.

Store is very dirty. The smell when you walk in the store is disgusting. The only part of the store that looks like the floor has been halfway swept is by the registers. Garbage all over, outside in front of store. This Kroger store is in need of major clean up and remodeling. Wont be going back there

Good selection of groceries and produce. The store is starting to show its age as the parking lot is in need of repair. The interior of the store could use some updating. U-scan lines however are some of the best of the major retailers I feel like. Theyre quick and process the new chip debit cards very quickly.

Brownstown krogers is located in a very easy to get to area and the prices are about the best around and the employees along with the people who shop there are all very polite and friendly ,i like shopping in the evening and so do many others as it seems i took a snapshot of the moon from the parking lot

Great place to shop for Groceries and your everyday living items. Cheap prices, great Sales. Plus they have a HUGE Selection of Digital Coupons on their App for you to download and use along with your Manufacturers Coupons. Plus EVERY Friday you get a FREE item. And its not just a small item.

The ice cream was soft. I put it back because it wouldve been melted on the way home. They never keep water in Stock and keep their fridge at high tempuratures. Milk and ice cream were both barely cold or just as cold as they had to be, no more. I wouldnt recommend this particular kroger.

Its way too cramped in this store. It always seems dirty and the seafood department smells so foul it makes me gag when I walk in the front door. Most of the employees seem like theyd rather talk to each other or play on their phones than help the customer. I hate going here.

The store had all the items I was going for, including the coupon items from the Kroger app. I saved $35.93 and only had to pay $74. The store is clean, the prices are good and employees are friendly. The bagger even helped me load my groceries in my car since I use a cane.

This Kroger is always clean and well stocked. It seems like they have a larger selection than the Southgate store, by maybe its the layout. I love this store because it is bright and clean and the staff is friendly. I go here when visiting my mom.
