On 7/20/2010 A-Dependable Maytag was authorized to go to a property I own and determine what was wrong with a stove and call me with an estimate for repairs. For the service call I was told by Debbie it would cost $65.00 and that Phil, the technician, would be calling me with an estimate for repairs. Well NO ONE called and they did repairs without my authorization that amounted to over $165.00. On 7/22/2010, after looking at my credit card statement online and discovering the $165.58 charge and hearing nothing from A Dependable Maytag, I called and spoke with Debbie again. She told me what the charges were for and she was sorry they did not call. She was going to speak with the tech and call me back. They were super busy and do what they could, blah, blah, blah. Later that day, Bill from A Dependable Maytag called and left a nasty message say they tried calling me, but I did not answer the phone. And because my stove was worth "$1200-$1500 THEY thought it was worth repairing" I do not really care what they thought my stove was worth. My verbal contract with them was for them to determine the problem with the stove, charge me $65.00 for that service and call me with their diagnosis. They failed to do that and without my authorization proceeded with the repair and charged for it. To this date, I have no receipt or service order ticket. Do not do business with this company!!

Needed a dryer for 50 year old house. Basement doorway was too narrow for most machines, plus the vent hose was a bit longer than usual. We had to refuse delivery from Best Buy because they refused to put 2 hoses together. This installer (who is also the repair guy) said they would get the dryer in even if he had to take it apart. It took some wrangling but they got it in, and it seems like a very nice machine for the cost. I will definitely come again, the big stores couldnt care less about their customers.

Bough a new home in 2005. Needed washer, dryer and refrigerator. Sears would sell all, but not install without a paid service charge. Home Depot would not install dryer due to side venting. Bill and Debbie at Maytag stepped up, sold appliances at a competitve rate, and installed the appliances at no extra charge. They did it promptly and pleasantly. Highly recommended.

I described the issue of how my laundry washing machine was stopping mid cycle and the team was able to root cause the most likely issue and had the exact part in stock. The serviceman also helped give me advice on how to change the latch switch as well. Im now 3 loads deep and the laundry keeps coming. Highly recommend utilizing these guys in the future.
