Terrible service. Called in after I moved in on to my new place about 4 weeks ago, needed a new part for my washing machine to make it work. A few weeks pass and they reach out to me to schedule an appointment. The appointment is on a Tuesday at 9 AM (a day I would typically work), so I stayed home to let the technician in. Its 9:30 AM so I give the business a call and ask when the technician is going to be here. The lady connects me to him and he says its going to be at 4:00 if at all. Slightly upset I go to work and wait to hear for a call back, never happens. I call in the next morning and ask what happened. Service girl says that the appointment was rescheduled for Friday (without telling me). I am slightly confused, but decide to make myself available because I am still out of a washer. I call the technician and tell him to call me 30 minutes before he is going to be on site (since I live in a gated community). Never happens, tech shows up and calls my phone (without the prior notice requested). I call back 15 minutes later after I am out of work meeting (working from home), and the technician is gone. I ask when he is coming back and get a lot of flak from the service lady, I ask her to tell him to call me so we can figure out a better time. Thirty minutes more go by, so I call back. Service lady asks why I wasnt available at the given time. I stated that I was, but requested prior notice because I have work meetings (which are also over the phone) and cannot disconnect while I am in one (so I need notice like I requested). Lady starts to be extremely rude asking me why I would request prior notice and how that would have changed anything. I state my case of why I asked for prior notice, and how it would allow my to make sure I am available. This lady is completely rude to me. Service lady goes on to tell me that they will not be coming to fix my washer and that I should search elsewhere for service. Now upset, I ask to speak to the manager. She says she will not connect me with the manager. I insist to speak to a manager, and then am hung up on. I am in a service industry, I have been sworn at over the phone, I would never hang up on someone and try my best to fix any conflict. Another disclaimer, this is the first review I have ever wrote. That is how baffled I am by this company’s customer service record. I will never do business here, and I will make sure anyone who needs a similar service does not come to this company. Avoid at all costs.

My appointment was originally set for a Wednesday between noon and 4 pm. The service tech calls Tuesday morning and states he will be to my home between 9 and noon. I state I can not be there as I am at work for the day and had asked for A minimum of 2 hours notice. After 3 weeks we were finally able to set a mutual time. When he was finished installing the part I asked if he would position the appliance level, he said NO ! That I could do it myself ! The interesting fact is that very same technition was the same one that had been to my home 3 months prior and had positioned the appliance unlevel instead of replacing the same part that had to replaced this time to correct the issue properly. There are Several other Issues concerning this technition and repair that I have not covered here. I will not have this company back to my home !!!!!!!!!

classic....just like the other reviews.....schedule for 1 - 5 service repair under warranty and receive 3 calls at 8 . 9. and then 10 a.m. saying my appointment is 10 -12....which is great if that was when my appointment was. i called the owner and he tells me that we didnt know till the morning the appointment was changed.... listen.. if your in the repair business then you are aware things pop up.....people get sick.....this is your business and you should adjust for these unfortunate situations . it is obvious to me that it is a scam charging the manufacturer for a no show appointment warranty repair....... but the reschedule was on kenwhirl not me the consumer......fortunately i was able to schedule a&e factory service which worked out great.......i recommend using them instead

A service appointment with Kenwhirl was scheduled by Lowes on my behalf. On the day the appointment was to occur, I contacted Kenwhirl to ask when I could expect someone to arrive. I spoke with Hilda and she told me to contact Lowes. I asked why and she told me again to contact Lowes as they would not service my appliance and she hung up on me. I would not use Kenwhirl for any repairs based on this interaction! Why would anyone want to be treated this way? It would have been very easy for Hilda to offer a simple explanation as to why they were unable to keep the appointment made by Lowes, or how maybe Lowes made a mistake, but she did not seem to care. I have no idea if Kenwhirl performs quality work and I will never know because of how rude and unprofessional she was.

Worst ever!I dont recommend using this company because they cant fix nothing. Came over for warranty repair for ABC Warrehouse of the ice dispenser in my refrigerator purchased there. It took them 5 visits and replacing whole bunch of parts before they relized theres bad wiring connection to the ice maker. Now they are also trying to fix my washer machine which started vibrating. After 3 visits and couple parts replacement they did not know what to do so they realized it is going to be easier to report that everything is just fine.Does not matter you could feel the vibrations everywhere in the house ,not mention washer started leaking water. Horrible service.

Horrible. Tech came out said he could not smell the burnt wire odor coming from top of dishwasher took of panel saw no burnt wires problem was in my house call an electrician. He was at my home 12 minutes tops from the time he got out of his van and back in. Complained to warranty holder and they got a new tech to come out. He smelled the odor checked nothing and said well try a new control panel. No attempt made to check anything. I have waited two weeks for a part. Called today and the part was magically there and they could have a tech out tomorrow. . Ive lived about a mile from them for 38 years and have heard my share of horror stories..

After requesting an afternoon appointment for Friday, I received a call on Friday morning telling me that my service call was schedule for 10AM. I told them I could not be home for the 10AM appointment and asked them to reverse their route for the day but was told "Gas prices are too high to do that". So, I regretfully had to reschedule the service of my washer for a different day. I received a call at noon from the guy @ Kenwhirl and he told me he was at the house waiting for me. He had totally forgot about our earlier conversation, and better yet, wanted to charge me for the call! I will not go back here!!!!
