My husband and I decided to order new garage doors, and after checking out many companies, decided to go with the Home Depot because of their claims that they take care of everything. We went to this store to place our order, but they didnt have samples of the door for us to look at and were not very knowledgeable about the product. Our order was not placed in store, but online when we got home. We were contacted by the garage door manufacturer/installer the next day to set up for measurements. After not hearing anything after a week, and not seeing their online installation portal update, we called the Home Depot store, to follow up. When speaking with our installation contact, she informed us that they do not have any information, and that we would need to contact Clopay (the manufacturer/installer) for any further information about our install. After about 8 weeks, we finally got our doors installed. We were initially told the timing would be 4-6 weeks. The whole experience was not good to say the least, but the doors look really good. Now, we have a small installation issue, and the store said that were on our own. We need to contact the installer again to resolve the problem.

Its getting to a point where I just cant stand this store: the lack of help and lack of knowledge of what personnel they do have is aggravating. Whats even more disappointing is the lack of selection, especially in plumbing. I absolutely cannot stomach trying to get plumbing supplies at this store anymore, when your able to find some "help", its weak . They dont even know what they have half the time and the usual response is "we dont have that" accompanied by an excuse via a comment that "we dont sell enough of that to stock it", but its common product for plumbing. The dont sell enough because they never have it in stock to sell it to begin with. To top it off what product they do have on the shelf is all jumbled in different bins and you cant trust what your buying, much less know what the real price is, which by the way are premium prices for sub-standard products. This store is declining due to such ignorance.

Every time I go in this store, I cant find employees to help me. When I do find them, they treat me in a patronizing manner, which is really unprofessional. Or, just as often, they are entirely clueless about what I need. They have no sense of understanding of any project that might be slightly different than they are used to. Furthermore, their selection of actual organic gardening supplies is very poor, and they seem to have no interest in learning about organic gardening nor stocking supplies that can be used. I find myself wandering the aisles of home depot unable to find what I am looking fore, and wasting my time in the process, and not getting any help from customer service. From here on out, I will only go to small, locally owned stores who take the time and give you good customer service. This Home depot is certainly not one of those stores, and wont be getting my business again.

I have had very bad experience with the tool repair department repairing a product that I purchased at the Home Depot. brought my power tool in for repair under warranty in the spring. It was approximately 9 months old. Waited 6 weeks with with no update on the repair. Called to check on the repair status and was told parts were on order and they would call me when it was complete. Did not hear a response and after weeks of back and forth phone calls with the location the tool was sent to a different facility to determine if it is repairable. I have been told that if it is determined no to be reparable that a new product will be sent to me from the factory. It has taken 78 days to get to this point and will take an additional 3 weeks for evaluation and receipt of a new product. I do not recommend taking products to the Home Depot for repair.

The selection here is awful! I needed 3 metal pieces of plumbing...they didnt have any of them! All of their metal valve fittings seem to be converters. All I wanted was a 1/2 inch threaded, straight tube, with a valve on the top, and they didnt have it! I also needed a Y-shaped valve connector(for diverting flow) and THEY DIDNT HAVE THAT EITHER! I wasted a whole 2 and a half hours at this store thinking I was looking at the wrong section...nope! There were several other hardware stores I could have chosen, and Im rather disappointed I chose here.

This is my preferred Home Depot due to its immediate proximity to Sams Club! The staff are typically easy-to-find and very helpful. The store is laid-out well and more everything can be located w/o much trouble. Oh yeah! The store is also dog-friendly,... well, at least to some degree! I was dogsitting my brothers little teacup terrier and brought her in the store w/ me and the staff there adored her and welcomed us to shop. Im not sure if theyd allow a massive dog in, but they certainly didnt seem to mind a small, well-behaved pooch!

The rental is a joke if i could give no stars that would be great! I tried renting heavy equipment twice from this store and the ponyiac store both times they rented it out even tho i told them i was on my way and i got there before the 30 min time frame. Which is a shame and a waste of gas and i will be taking my buisness somewhere else from now on after being a home depot custome for years. Chets rental it is for me from now on and Lowes for everything else

Best of luck finding help if you need it, even if you locate a "specialist", chances are theyre from a different department and of limited help. Looking for a seamer to bend aluminum trim, spent 10 minutes answering some poor souls questions in plumbing, before finding my choices were a 3" tool for about twenty bucks or a 9 incher for $60. Virtually every frieze and fascia in Michigan is 5 1/2", nice. You can do it (wrong) and we can help!

Do not purchase flooring from this company. From the very start it was lies and we have had nothing but headache after headache from them with no resolution. STARTING FROM THE TIME you call them, they never have anyone answering the phone. The management has no clue what is going on and every single person you talk to tells you a different story. Im warning you run from them. You will regret every step of it.

I came into the store to buy some tooling for my husband for Christmas. First Jody helped me find the item I was looking for......went out of her way to make sure I got a box that was in good condition. Then Jim W came and helped me pick out the free gift that came along with what I was purchasing. Both were extremely helpful, and friendly and courteous. I left with a huge smile on my file.
