I never write reviews but this is without a shadow of a doubt the most incompetent company Ive ever dealt with, even giving them one star seems generous. We called initially because our fridge wasnt closing and things werent being kept cold, they gave us a time they would come out and never showed, then when we called to see what was going on they said they came and nobody answered the door which would have been a fine answer except for that it wasnt true. I was home all day waiting for a knock at the door and nobody ever came. Then they eventually came out and "repaired" our fridge, except for that our fridge still wasnt keeping things cold. We called again and they said theyd come out and when they did come out they didnt have the part they needed and told us there would be a $75.00 transfer fee so they could get the part that for some reason they didnt know they would need when they came out and looked at our fridge for the first repair. After a few days of not hearing anything from them, we called them and they said they wouldnt be able to come out for 6 more days. Today (Monday) is the 6th day and the time the repair was set up for was 11-1. To no surprise, they didnt show. I called them at about 1:30 and told them nobody came out and they told us that WE scheduled the repair for 3-5, which isnt in the least bit true. This is the second time theyve blatantly lied to us, and Im currently waiting until 3-5 although Im sure they wont show up then either. Needless to say well never make the mistake of calling Higher Standard Appliance Repair again and Id advise future potential customers to use anybody but them.

I would not recommend this company to anyone. Zero Stars was not an option. Maytag was nice to cover my parts under a warranty that expired by 3 months because my machine was only 3 years old and the Main PCB was bad. After a discussion about the labor price because Higher Standard misdiagnosed my appliance they wanted to charge me $175.00. Meanwhile, I have been without a washing machine for 1 month. I asked them because of the circumstances, if they could adjust the labor because it was very high from other quotes I had acquired. The sales manager said he would not adjust for any delays and now I had to pay CASH! They would not complete my repair unless I pay CASH! Very unprofessional company. I am out $89.00 and who knows if I had payed them cash if they would finish my repair correctly.

You tech comes out for 3 minutes, we let him know ice maker is not working and ask if the water should be coming out faster. Says plumbing is the issue not the fridge. Have a plumber come out and says water is getting to the fridge fine, just not to ice maker. Call back in for a refund and the service manager agrees with me that plumbing would not have been the issue. Told I will be given a call back with an answer. After not hearing anything for a week I call back in to see whats up and told sorry cant refund. Not even a call back from them. You guys are a scam that provide terrible service who obviously doesnt care about your reputation at all. I am submitting to Samsung as well to have them remove you from their preferred servicers and provide proof on why.

This place is a total scam. The man came out for 10 minutes and said my washer wasnt worth fixing. He charged me $92 and the next day I opened my washer and spent 1 maybe 2 minute trying to get it to spin and then the bearings gave and now the washer works perfectly, not a single issue. He told me my engine was blown and that Id need to buy new bearings. He said to get it working again it was going to cost $600-800 at least. He just didnt want to do his job! And when I called to explain this to Anthony, a representative at their office, he got upset and hung up on me. Worst service I have ever experienced. This company just doesnt want to do their job, but wants to get paid. Find another appliance repair company, do not use their services.

Called to have our BEST hood vent repaired above our Viking Stove: the fuse had to be replaced because the lights had burnt out. Anthony came out and couldnt fix it initially said he would research and get back to me. Never called. I followed up with them and sent them all the information requested via email. Took another day off work and met the new guy (literally his second day with the company). He didnt bring anything to fix it and said he would have to come back because it was a two person job. REALLY! These guys dont know what they are doing. I asked that the owner call me. Never heard back from them. Apparently they dont need the business or a good referral! Sad...waste of two days off!

Since they get paid by Samsung every time they come out and replace a part, there is absolutely no efficiency in their repair schedule. Over a month, they sent four different service techs who had no background of what had previously been done and/or what needed to be done. One tech arrived without the part that had (wed been told) been ordered by the previous tech. Another tech refused to listen to my wife, who knew exactly what needed replacing. He spent almost two hours taking apart our washer only to confirm what my wife had tried telling him. This review would be one star but after 26 days and four technicians, they did repair our appliance.

Ok I must say I gave them one star at first. the tech didnt make it in the two hr window and the home office would not return my call.... With that being said The tech called my a few mins after 5pm and apologized and asked if he could still come. of course I wanted my over fixed!! when Steve got here he was awesome quickly knew what the issue was and he had the part!!! this guy was awesome! he was quick and very friendly (not normal in my experience with repair techs) So thank you Steve you alone saved my view of this company and YOU are the only reason I gave 5 stars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

These guys suck. Six service calls, and $253.00 later my washer still cant wash two bath towels at the same time.The owner now that he has my money refuses to repair my machine. I was told that Im not a priority and there is nothing more that he can do for me. Do yourself a favor and find a company with some professionalism or find a utube video and try to fix it yourself youll be a lot better off. Unfortunately Im forced to give them a whole star to be able to post.

I was having some problems with my side by side refrigerator and they can to come out to my house over 6 times trying to diagnose the problem always on time very professional and on time. I was pleased with the service and didn’t charge me every time they came out. This unit was very old but they managed to get it running and would highly recommend them to anyone.
