Bought a LG WAVEFORCE washer on Jan 11th (22 days ago) because we needed a washer ASAP and Menards has them in stock. Spent over 800 dollars. This has a 10yr warranty. AND ITS ALL READY BROKE< CANT TAKE BACK AND CANT GET SERVICE ON IT!!!! . Ran great for 21 whole days, then error code of "E6" appears and it is full of water and wont work.... called LG Customer Service tried to walk me through, says their must be something stuck in agitator, nothing is there, it wont drain and it wont spin, but agitator on bottom moves freely!! CS sets up a supposed service call for Monday (three days after issue) Took day off for service guy, service guy didnt show up and didnt call, tried calling the service guy, receive a message that they are closed and you cant leave a message, but they tell you too, the message just keeps replaying....I called Menards, they will NOT take back washer because even though u can return up to 30 days, with appliances it 7 and the fact I opened it they wont take it back!! Now I have owned it 22 days and it doesnt work and cant get service on it!! They sold this to me with this fantastic 10yr warranty and I cannot return it or get it FIXED....so what, I am out over 800 bucks....THANK YOU MENARDS YOU FLIPPING ROCK!! Menards say they will look into it and call me back and no one calls me back, LG service says they will try and locate another service repair and call me back, NO ONE CALLS ME BACK...NICE, MENARDS sells a machine that broke in 22 days and I cant get service on it with 10 year warranty and what, what am I suppose to do!!! NICE NICE NICE!! I WILL NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN!!

I was at the Port Huron, Mi Menards today, 1-23-2017 at about 11:50 am in the plumbing Dept. getting help from an associate, Melissa, on some things. Melissa had to ask her manager a question for me and he answered the question very nicely, and professional, I believe his name is Alan. Then Erin which is the assistant manager for the plumbing Dept. blew up on Melissa about some crazy stuff right in front of me, which was extremely uncalled for!!! I was very upset on how Erin spoke to Melissa as Erin was extremely rude and very unprofessional. If Erin is any type of manager she should know that NOBODY deserves to be treated like that, especially in front of customers. Erin lacks management skills and if she needed to talk to an associate, I would recommend not doing it around the area where customers are present, makes herself look very unprofessional. Menards is big enough, I am sure there are plenty of areas to talk to associates instead out in customer view. There were a few other times that Erin was very short, made me feel like I was bothering her and that is why I avoid her as much as possible. I called the G.M. about the issue and I hope he looks into it. If she is talking to her associates like that, wonder how she treats the customers. Maybe time for me to look for another store to shop at in the area. Good luck to Melissa, and the other associates in the plumbing Dept, gonna need it working under someone like Erin!!!

Went in for duct tape. What should have been a quick errand turned in a long one. First, duct tape, one of the most essential items for an American home, was all the way in the back corner, on the compete opposite side of the register. Of course I had to track down two associates to find it. Would it kill you to put some duct tape in the front of the store by all the impulse items? Hell of a lot more useful than candy and belts. On another note, the cashier I had finished up an order. The other customer had only 1 box to put in his cart and instead of ringing me up or at least acknowledging me, she just stood there and stretched against the resister. I dont care if she didnt say hello, or what not. I just wanted to get out of the store and back on the road. Ive been a cashier in the past and I would have got rimed out if I did that.

Purchased a Whirlpool fridge. Packaging was fine, but when removed we found the unit was damaged. Side and door were dented and seal was compromised, likely from the factory. Manager offered us $50 - not cash - but store credit to keep it. Although polite, the customer service was lacking. After all the hassle bringing it across the border, getting help to carry it down 2 flights of steps and gas back and forth 45 miles, its a nightmare. Why would I want $50 store credit where I will never shop again, due to poor (but polite) problem resolution. I am returning it this week and will get it for the same price at Home Depot, with proven service. But the nickel and die stuff at Menard, but go to Home Depot for the big ticket items. I wanted to rate Menards 0 stars, but didnt work.

Called store to ask question got automated system . Wanted garden center system said press 1-3 pressed 1-3 told invalid choice, system transferred me to another agent who transferred me to" 3 "other agents, the last one immediately asking me if I could hold before I could even make my inquiry! Put me immediately on hold and never came back on the line! Waited 10 minutes for him to come back on line, finally hung up. Sales people are unprofessional, not interested , young , have little to no knowledgeable of the business. Hoping to have better luck in store, but sincerely doubt it!

I love this store. I am a tried and true Lowes shopper, but I might be saying goodbye to them. Menards has a great selection of merchandise that Lowes doesnt have. The staff at Menards is top notch. They make sure the customer has a great shopping experience by delivering great customer service. This is something not found in all stores in todays world. Also, I emailed Menards headquarters in Wisconsin, and within 5 minutes I received a response back. From the staff in Wisconsin, to the staff at the local store, I have only great things to say about Menards.

Good pricing on large selection of items. Customer service is not plentiful on the sales floor so if you have questions or need help locating an item I would recommend locating the appropriate department and speaking to someone within that department. Each department seems to have a computer or monitor that the employees work/congregate around and the employees are always helpful. Shout out to Leo outside lumber, Renee in tools, and Alex in paint = very helpful.

This place sucks. If you have a complaint you might as well forget it. They pretend like they are going to help you but in reality they dont. They dont follow through. Dont bother complaining in an email because that doesnt work either. I did that and all I got was " Id like to help you but I dont know what store you are talking about". When I responded I never heard back from them. Nice Meards!

People that work there are always helpful especially in plumbing where I usually go anyways for my soft wash business.I think the prices are better then other places and to me the place seems well organized plus clean. Wish they would get more amigos so my dad can get around in there unless they did since Ive been there though.
