Majority of customer services are great, Electronic dept. guys are useless its take 45+ minutes TV from the back, claiming they need forklift, they only thing they need is a cart, they were unwilling to do work just standing talk to each other, try to sell open box TV, both younger and older tall skinny guy are rude, they should thank me for paying their paychecks as customer. 2 checkout cashiers treat people like dummies, I have been Costco member for over 16 years with executive membership, I only shop Ann Arbor store which exceptionally, this store is chaos. poor lighting, confusing layout, very close checkout lanes. Will never go back. Only thing I drove from Ann Arbor to Livonia was TV I want, was not in stock Ann Arbor store. Advise for store manager, Costco has good reputation for best customer services and prices. This Electronic department older-tall-skinny man, should not working for you, while waiting the TV he was walking around, don’t want to get TV, he did not get TV until DirectTV guy call him, I waited 40 minutes standing, DirectTV man I assume is vendor not Costco employee, but he did good job contacting this bigot, racist, lazy, rude guys.

I like the convenience of being able to purchase larger quantities of certain items at a better price and the convenience of buying gasoline at about on average $.10-12 cents cheaper than the local gas stations. I however am extremely angry about how Costco Management Headquarters is disrespectful to the local Management and its customers pertaining to its discontinuing of products (I.e. Sobe Life Water, when theres so many others) that some of us have become accustomed to being there! It seems that when Corporate descides to discontinue a product, no warning is given, not even local Management can give an accounting as to why, when or if the item will even be returning. Its just no longer there!!!. Very sad to see this in such a large company, that prides itself on customer services. You would think at the least, the Corporate would notify the local Management of what is taking place. I dont want anyone to misunderstand, Costco does have a important place in Michigan and I will continue to patronize its warehouses but, they need to improve communication with the public.

As a member of this store, my father tends to shop here a lot and also get gas near from the stores members only gas station. There is a lot of high quality stuff that can be found here; while the selection is limited when compared to a traditional department store format, you pay a fairly decent price for great quality, as theres a lot of stuff thats sold in bulk and cant be found at any other non-Costco store. The warehouse look may seem cavernous to some, but its there for a reason because unopened goods to sell are stacked at the top and also the bottom. As for service, checkout lines can be a hassle (despite there being many open). When checking out here, one unique twist here is having larger items scanned down one side of the register and smaller items on the other. This seems to work as a means of good efficiency. Among these services provided, there is also one food court serving traditional fast food fare. If you are willing to look past some of the oddities of a warehouse environment, Costco can be an excellent experience as a member.

I am an elderly woman, with numerous orthopedic issues, awaiting replacement of several joints, and I was expected to stand for an extended period of time at the Costco service desk, while racist African American Costco employees provide service for African American customers who arrived in line after I did, all with the complete support of Costco management, while African American Costco employees laughed at my complaints about their failure to equitable assist people in the order they arrived at the service desk. The general manager, "Kenny," is NEVER in the store, according to employees at this store, and he has failed to respond to corporates request that he request this racially inequitable service at this Costco store. The Costco store on Haggerty is much nicer, much better quality of employees, and they actually appear to have en engaged manager there.

Considering the gas prices tend to fluctuate, my husband & I decided to get a membership bc we moved closer to Costco. I must say, I miss Sams Club. Although they have some of the same similar items, Ssms Club is much better in my opinion I discovered yesterday that Costco got rid of their U Scan registers. This was one service that made them different from Sams Club & I really enjoyed that service. I do not find that any of the employees are friendly or helpful. I have never received a greeting, Ive never been told thank you for shopping at Costco, Ive never been asked if I needed any help, & come to think of it , we were not even thanked for becoming a Costco member. The cashiers are not friendly. I may try another Costco bc I would hate to think all of them are like this even though I live less than a mile from this location

I love Costco Corporation. My husband and I have been members here since this location first opened. The employees here are friendly and helpful. The store is always clean and Costco carries good quality merchandise including organic and green options. Furthermore, they have a large fleet of running scooters for those, like my husband, who have walking disabilities. However, the store is always crowded no matter when you go. Parking is often an issue. The checkout lines are fairly efficient, but still take a while. Navigating through the store can be difficult just due to the number of other shoppers. This is particularly the case on the weekends when Costco does their sample displays.

Whats up Costco? Why do you treat your customers badly? I know not all the employees are bad, but some of them are pretty rude. I had one guy stop me outside the door, yell at the employee who checks the receipt because she failed to check my receipt -- I had clearly mentioned after my receipt was checked that I am going to pick up my photographs. This is the third time I have experienced rude employees. This probably is the ghetto of Costco - Costco culture does not work here. Pretty disrespectful people who assume customers are shoplifters by default. Aah enough rant!

I always get my gas at this costco, its always cheaper than anywhere else around. They dont take cash, and dont have a Convenience store, and everyone goes in one easy and out the other. Hoses are long enough to reach over your car so you can fill from the opposite side. All of these things get you in and out quickly at the pump. Also like the food selections there. Every once in awhile I buy one of their pot pies. They cost around 16 or 17 dollars, and take 90 minutes to bake, but it feeds the whole family, and its the best pot pie you can get.

The employees here are some of the best in the world. I am always given a warm welcome from the greeter at the door, a helpful hand from hourly stockers to upper management alike. Add to this all the great deals and the generous free samples to try and i sometime wonder why I dont apply to work here. Rumor has it, the workers are paid very well and the CEO is the lowest paid of all Fortune 500 companies. I happy and proud to be a costco member and cheers to the staff of the Middlebelt Costco, you are exceptional!
