Wow! Gazelle Sports just helped save my date with my wife! (-: I have one of the most amazing wives that just goes out for a run and before you know it shes in the next town after 10 miles! After her last little venture like this, I told her this week that I wanted to take her on a date to buy her some new running shoes! With not much time to get to Gazelles (especially since it was over a 1/2 hour away), we bolted out the door and drove up there as i was praying that God would help us get there in time and the people wouldnt mind helping us so late. I then called in as I was driving with only about 10 minutes until they were to close to let them know we were about 5 minutes away, and the nice manager lady Nikki was super nice and even looked while I was on hold to make sure they had the running shoes my wife was looking for. Sure enough they did, and she said to not worry about the time and just cone on in. When we got there another nice lady named Tracy patiently helped my wife for over a half hour at least, and wouldnt stop going up and down the stairs to pull out over 12 pairs of shoes until my wife found the perfect pair (all the while making us not feel rushed!)! At the checkout, both Nikki and Tracy were again super patient and nice, completing one of the best experiences we have ever had with a shoe purchase (or any shopping experience for that matter)! P.S. I even asked if at the checkout of they had any good dress shoe insoles, since my feet were hurting, and Tracy willingly came over and worked with me to pick some out and add them to our order! What a great lady, and great store! If you want great shoes with even greater customer experience, treat yourself to a date at Gazelle Sports! (-:

Before college started I took my daughter to Gazelle and she found 2 pairs of shoes she liked and also a North Face backpack. Within 2 months the backpack had a shredded water bottle holder and another tear in the front pocket due to a biking incident. The backpack was not cheap so I took it back to Gazelle hoping they could send it back to North Face for me bc it is a very heavy backpack. I explained the situation and they offered to exchange it, refund my money or give me a store credit. WOW! They said North Face stands behinds its products and took it back. I was so happy and relieved. My daughter was thrilled. I am not suprised. Gazelle is a quality store and that is why people go there bc they know the store stands behind their products. Thank you Gazelle for being so awesome!

After everyone had been telling us that "this was the place to go for running shoes" I finally took my wife done there to get her some new shoes. First things first it took us forever to get someone to help us. Then my wife explained she had plantar fasciitis and she needed to have a shoe with great arch support. After 20 minutes of trying on shoes that my wife thought looked hideous the girl informed her that these were all clearance shoes! Do I look poor lady?! Then after she brought shoes that looked more age appropriate for my wife she just acted like my wife should be happy and pick one. I expected a lot more from this place especially after all the hype. Another thing I thought sucked was they carry NO Under Armour products!! I will never return to shop here again.

I love this store. One thing you can count on is that when you visit the store you are going to get the right product for you. If you buy a pair of shoes put 10-20 miles on them and find they are not correct they will take them back with no hassle and help you find something else that will work. They are not the cheapest on the initial price but when you take into account that you will not be buying another pair in 3 months because the discount pair hurt your feet, it is well worth the money. I just bought my first tri wetsuit from them. I would have bought the wrong size if it was not for the knowledge and expertise of there staff. Especially Rob. Thank you!

This is the best running store I have encountered in any city - Chicago, Madison, Boulder, East Lansing/Lansing, Fort Wayne and Ann Arbor. Gazelle stands by all their products. If you are unhappy at any time with anything you purchase there they will replace it. The staff is knowledgeable, the store is gorgeous and the selection is outstanding. As a bonus, Gazelle Sports donated a ton of time and money to support the Kalamazoo running scene. I cannot see why I would buy shoes or other gear anywhere else.

What you get at Gazelle is more than great running gear. You get top notch professional advice and one on one assistance from experienced runners! Ive never been disappointed. Just tonight, I bought my 3rd pair of running shoes from Gazelle. Walked in a few minutes before closing but still received the excellent service received in the past. Tracy and Nikki patiently assisted me with finding the perfect shoe, THANK YOU SO MUCH. You guys are the best!

My clerk didnt pay attention to me, but was talking with the group sitting behind me the whole time. He brought shoes, Id be trying them on, and hed be gone. Always came back, Ill give him that. Im older, have always purchased my walking shoes there, but got the feeling that I wasnt hip enough to be there. (I was wearing the shoes that Id purchased there the year before, so it wasnt like I was wasting their time. Unpleasant experience.

OK its a little boutique but beneath the beautiful people facade are a slew of serious athlete bent on making sure youre satisfied. They were happy to custom order not just one but a couple of Five Fingers that bracketed my unusual foot size and they called periodically to let me know when the order was due or if it got delayed due to a surge in popularity. Knowledgable staff is there to help get you fitted in the right gear. They take the time to ensure you are in the right shoe for your running style and foot. They even let you take the shoes for a test run before you buy them to make sure they feel right. Just know that you will be paying recomended manufacturer pricing for your running gear, but it is well worth it to ensure you are in the proper shoe.

Absolutely wonderful store. Workers are well informed about products. Extremely helpful. Great prices and deals. Genuinely want to help. Plenty to offer. Its honestly a blast going into there because I know Ill get good customer service and know my questions can be answered. Easily my favorite store for buying running shoes, clothes, and accessories. I wouldnt go anywhere else.

Even with it being a busy Saturday, there were lots of employees and they were all very helpful in my selection process. They even had a treadmill where I could run to my hearts content until I finally made my decision. You will pay more for that service, in my case it was about $20 more than what I could find them online for, but I feel the service was worth it.
