I was fitted for a driver by an "experienced fitter" I thought I was getting something great. On the simulator it fit "perfect" according to them. I said it seems shorter than my other driver but I would take it. I tried it out on the course the same day. Didnt come close to the simulator experience I took it back in they put me back into the simulator. This happen four times total over 10 days. Nothing. My old driver hit straighter longer. I told them this and ask for my money back. They were angry at me told me I was unable to have a refund, I used the club. Yes I did but how are you to know if it is the right club? They knew I wasnt happy after the first time I came back. They told me to use to club trying different settings with the shaft tee levels shoulder positions. How was I to do this without trying the club? They said Maple Hill wouldnt help me if I bought from them or even emporium in Greenville area. They didnt refund me my money I was forced to take a gift card after their tongue lashing. Never again will I go there.

Was waiting in line to have the grip on my driver replaced, and an older gentleman was working the repair desk. I gave him my grip and he told me it would take 10 minutes. As I stood there waiting, another customer came up with a Ping putter he was going to purchase but wanted a different grip on it. The gentleman proceeded to work on his club before mine. This isnt the first time Ive had bad service at this store. I guess you need to make a expensive purchase to get good service. Well guess what? My next big golf purchase will be at Maple Hill.

Horrible experience, I feel scammed. Was fitted for clubs that were "PERFECT" for my swing. Against my better judgement I was persuaded into a club based on the "professionals expertise". They said, "If you dont like them, bring them back and we will get you something you like." Brought them back within 30 days and they refused to do anything because I had used them. (Not sure how to tell if you like a club without using it) Now I am back using my old irons. Bottom line, they are there to sell you clubs not help your golf game.

We received fabulous service from Jim Amiot at the Gold Galaxy on 28th street. He fit my high school senior and spent hours with him to insure he got the right clubs. We were pressed for time and since my son is a lefty we needed expert advice. And we received it. I would recommend Jim to anyone looking for new clubs. Jessica Ruppert

I dont know why I go here, other than they have a great selection of golf "stuff". Dont expect to be helped unless you ask and then dont think youll be informed well, other than what you can read when its available. I look here and then go to Maple Hill. They have better prices and much more knowledgeable staff.

Ive never written a review before but I felt compelled to write one for Golf Galaxy. My experience with them was excellent. Their customer service was friendly and helpful. The shipping was fast and free...bonus! Being able to talk with a live person over the phone was also a big plus.

Went to compare my current driver with all the latest offerings from Taylormade, Calloway etc. And left with my old driver and some great tips from Ken Kapcia. I will be recommending Golf Galaxy to all my friends and family and if your looking to improve your game call Ken today!!
