If I could give this place ZERO stars I would. We went in with our children on Saturday looking for gerbils for our 4 year olds birthday. They didnt have any so we went looking at all the other animals. My son fell in love with a kitten and we checked the price that said $99 and decided we would let him get it. Went and asked the older lady to let us know if it was a girl or boy and she came over and talked with us, no issues. After that we told her we wanted her. She said they couldnt leave until Monday because they had a vet appointment. We tell our son well come back and get her Monday and shell be home when you get off the bus. She takes down our name and number and says shell let us know when they get back. My husband goes to get her today (Monday) and there is a new sign on the cage that says $299. He asks to speak to the owner and the same older lady refuses. She says the $99 is only for domestic cats, we cant sell it at that price. Husband left and comes back in and she says the owner said they wont change the price. So now I get to tell my son when he gets off the bus that there is no kitten because these people are incompetent, non truthful, and rude as hell. I will never give this place our business. False advertising at its best and flat out liars.

First of all the grouchy old lady that is supposedly the manager follows you around like you are going to steal a rat and run off with it; she followed us around the whole store watching us, Im 22 and my mom is 53 -__- ... Anyways the young man that was helping us was SUPER NICE and we really liked him, he talked with us and helped us for like an hour and didnt seem bothered by any of our questions, he was great! Anyways, I ended up spending a lot of money that day and bought two chinchillas that they reassured me were two females (one ended up being a male which I was not happy about but I still love him very much), HOWEVER, two weeks after I purchased the chins, the male suffered from a rectal prolapse (likely due to a parasitic infection the vet said which he probably had when I bought him). $355 vet bill and the store refused to refund me / reimburse me for that cost which I wasnt supposed to have him in the first place because he was a boy, not a girl! It was an AWFUL experience ( except the guy that helped us) and I wouldnt buy any pet from that store EVER AGAIN and I dont think any of them are as healthy as they claim them to be. I will never go to this pet store again and will warn others not to either!!

My girlfriend and I went to the store looking for fish. The guy there was very helpful and nice. We walked around a bit looking at everything because its been awhile since Ive been there. Soon we noticed this worker following us around. Not helping at all, just playing on her phone and watching us. No smile either. Seemed really rude. Were 20, not little kids running around. Maybe she was trying to rush us out. When we finally picked a fish. I had to wait for her to stop texting. Then she roughly got the fish and took it to the front. Wont be returning soon, Ill drive a little farther for petco. I gave it two stars because the guy was awsome.

Do not buy any animals from V.I.Pets!!! I bought a one month old bunny for my wife 5 months ago, and it looks like we may have to put him down down due to genetic defects with his teeth and jaw due to improper breeding. The vet we took him to said he should never have been sold. They also said they see all kinds of animals with defects come from the V.I.Pets locations. They just want to churn and burn animals to make a profit without consideration of ethical and humane breeding practices. Ive been asking all of my friends and family to protest/boycott V.I.Pets and similar places of business.

There are way to many animals crammed in to one cage. The birds were stressed out and ripping their feathers out. One of them was slowly moving its head back and forth, probably has gone insane from lack of care. It was dirty and smelt bad in there, and the lady working was univiteing and rude. There was an obvious lack of passion for animals, you can really tell they are just looking to profit off of the animals. I have a strong feeling all of the puppies are from a puppy mill. Dont give this store your business, it will just contribte to them profiting off of animal cruelty.

The guy who works there is rude and argues with customers. They have no idea the sex of their animals; male and female animals are kept together. We ended up with a pregnant guinea pig and a pregnant rabbit. They have no idea the breeds of rabbits they have on hand. Go to Chow Hound instead, who actually keep the genders separate and know about what they carry

I bought a canary and was told that it was a male which is what I wanted. I was told that he was 4 months old and that it would take a little while for him to sing. Well after 6 months and spending time and music trying to get him to sing I found out that he is a she! VI Pets will do NOTHING. Dont buy from these people they DO NOT know what they are selling.

Expensive and they SELL pets. With all of the homeless adoptable pets in this world, why dont they contribute to finding shelter pets homes like other stores do instead of selling puppies and kittens from breeders!

Just walking into the slightly dim, not really kept up building, made me feel sad. The few animals seemed decently taken care of, which is good, but the whole place is just dark, stuffy with sad animals.

Its an Ok pet store, not real friendly, smaller inside, not real tidy looking, variety of pet types including AKC puppies, parking lot is a pain to exit
