I am finally done with FF. They are the closest grocery near me is my excuse for hanging on this long. I find their selection low, prices high, quality low -- and that includes meat, dairy, bakery, and store-brand anything. I had cut them out for everything but one-item buys when necessary. No more. For the fourth time, my Spartan brand half-and-half has gone bad way before expiration date, despite being always refrigerated. It is Aug. 12 and my Sept 16 carton is rancid, again. Obviously they dont keep their items refrigerated properly or their delivery system is so bad that the stuff is half bad when it goes on the shelf. Never happens with Meijer or Walmart products. Meijer is best for quality and price; its only downfall is everybody knows it so you have to go early to avoid crowds and they need more staff. But Id rather wait than have my food go bad.

My wife and I started shopping here more often in the past year or 2. Its close to home and we like there produce. We were there today buying the expensive Boars Head lunch meat and watched a deli worker cleaning the deli case. She was on the outside of the deli lifting the glass up and spraying cleaner over the glass and ALL over the food that was in the case. We watched her do this over all the potatoes salad, noodle salad, lunch meat etc. We went and said something to the lady working in customer service and she said she would tell the manager my guess is that they were not going to throw away thousands of dollars worth of food so be warned. We will continue to shop there, but not sure about the deli case though. This was on 4-27-14 @ 7:15pm

Im not sure what the old gentlemens name is but he is usually behind the service counter. On two occasions I asked him for help, each time he directed me to go to a service lane and when i asked them they would say "um you need to go to the service center for that." When i said i was just over there they look over and go "Oh" and proceed to assist me. If he is not suppose to be there someone should do something or find a suitable service clerk willing to do their job.

I go to this Family Fare regularly. The self-checkout is great! Lines move quickly, people are friendly and helpful, and the produce section isnt too bad. Its very convenient to enter, but exiting can be dangerous! The decreased star rating is due to how difficult it can be to leave the parking lot. Be aware that people like to drive willy-nilly here. Plus, its right next to the entrace/exit ramp of a couple major roads, so traffic can be difficult.

The prices are higher than most places, but they do have a Starbucks I visit (closest one tinny residence) the ff staff seldom pay attention, and are not nearly as responsive around the store and at checkout as they should be. And forget finding assistance after midnight. It feels like there is only one employee and they are hiding somewhere. Its mostly location, Starbucks, and popcorn that keeps me coming.

Always get my prescriptions here, staff at pharmacy is wonderful. Always willing to answer my questions. The store has good variety, some things are a bit pricey. Large alcohol section ( both wine, beer, hard liquor) huge deli variety for quick eating. Sushi section is always fresh. Free popcorn when entering. Starbucks is also inside.

Clean, great selection, expanded vegetarian and organic foods. Beer, wine, and spirits. Great produce, and very reasonable prices. Wide aisles, friendly and helpful staff. They are also great about hiring those with disabilities, even have accommodated a cashier with a service dog. My favorite place to shop!

Come on Family Fare, lower your prices! Widen your fresh vegetables, AND make sure they are stocked please! Love this store, but its hard to make it my "grocery store", when just 6 minutes away M-store constantly beats your prices. Meat especially, youre always at least $1 a pound more.

Enough staff to help you, great produce department, excellent deli, and an EASY checkout experience, unlike the wait one encounters at 16th Street Meijer, which Ive sworn off because it lacks all these things. I drive out of my way to shop here, and its always worth it.

I love everything here. But I had a horrid experience with one of the workers. She helped people in the self check out who were in front and behind me. She refused to help me and I had way more stuff than them. Maybe I looked intimidating? Please hire better people

Great place to shop for most if not all of your needs, comfortable, friendly environment with added comforts i.e. Starbucks, on hand butcher, fresh deli and an on site sushi bar made to order. This grocery store has what todays familys require or request! 5⭐

Good place to shop if you need grocery products of any sort. They also carry things you wont find at other stores. Prices are a little higher than other stores but if youre looking for something Meijers or Wal-Mart doesnt have this place probably does.

Conveniently located near me. They have a great selection of products. Their sale prices are very competitive with other supermarkets. Their deli fried chicken is better than the local chain chicken place. Friendly staff.

Too expensive. Not enough selection. And the self check out tech is ancient, slow and annoying. Only come here when Meijer is too far away. Ive lived close to family fare for 3 years and Ive probably come twice.

Good service and friendly employees. I like to go here because it is smaller than the really large grocery/merchandise stores like Meijer or Walmart. Also, they have a great wine selection.

They have the best Meat, Seafood, Bakery, and Deli. I absolutely love their donuts the meat cuts, the selection is unbelievable. The customer service is great really do like shopping there
