people who work in this store are very nice but... bottle return machine works part time, many of the items in dairy are out-dated, prices on most items are 10 - 20 % higher than meijer, and last but not least as of this week they dont take coupons from the internet. im a local to saugatuck/douglas and have shopped at demonds for years but im done. ill spend the gas, go to holland meijer, its worth the money.

I have shopped at Dumonds for about 7 years. In the past few years they have upgraded their meat department. With few exceptions the steaks are some of the best Ive ever eaten. They have a butcher who does a beautiful job of cutting and trimming. The deli staff is helpful. They carry local produce. Its A small store by todays standards but you can find most anything you need there. Its quick and convenient.

The owner is a convicted sex offender and is currently incarcerated. Expired products in every aisle. Items with multiple prices so check for the one with the lowest price, they must honor price marked. Filthy kitchen area. Avoid this place, buy fresh products and save $$$ and drive N 10 miles into Holland... Wal-Mart, Meijer, D & W, Family Fair.

Great location! Only a half mile from our vacation rental. Saved driving time to get groceries. Decent produce and meat. nice beer and wine selections as well. Overall seems to be good quality and selection but a little more expensive on some items. Probably evens out with the gas and time savings.

For a vacation grocery store it works pretty well as it is convenient and has most everything you would need. However, if you are looking for a lot of fresh produce, you may look for some other options. Prices are a little bit high, but for a smaller speciality type store it is right in line.

Its a local mom and pop grocery store in a tourist town. Staff is usually very helpful and friendly, and if you watch sale prices you can shop on a budget, but overall the prices are quite a bit higher than chains 15 miles away in Holland. Selections are good for the size of the store.

Go to Meijers in South Haven or Holland. This market has low grade produce and is expensive. It does stock Boars Head deli meat and have a Pallazzolos Gelato freezer case. But its best for last minute items, not good for stocking up in groceries.

Finally, a place where it actually smells like an actual grocery store. I havent had a fresh smell of grocery since I can remember. Great convenience for the location and the prices were reasonable. "Stay local, buy local and keep local."

A nice smaller grocery store like I used to go to. I can get in and out. Nice selection. I see some vacationers posted here but some of us live here 365 days a year. Prices may not be like walmart but no hassle or crowd like there.

Nice local grocery store. Almost like a deli. They go out of their way to carry locally produced products--Pallazollos, Salt of the Earth. Great meat. Huge wine collection. A bit pricey, but convenient location.

Reasonable selection and friendly staff. Can usually get what I need and get out very quickly unless its a holiday. This can be a tourist heavy spot which can make it busy and slow.
