This place is pretty authentic. I always say this when it come up but instead of them trying to talk to me in English, they bared with my poor spanish and let me practice, of which i greatful. In short, go get for a little cool mini authentic experience. Dont go if youre a neat freak. Restaurant: Pretty generic little kitchen that is more like a limited streetfood vendor. Food was pretty good. I was satisfied. They have only 3 items. Burrito, tacos, and torta, or sandwich. (If you go to their website you really see all of what all the locations offer, this restaurant is limited). They have a couple of vegetables you can pick from, and a few different meats. Now I say this is good in terms of street food, cause you might see some guys roll up with pounds of unpackage raw meat in a grocery cart that may or may not have been used around other parts of the store, not sure.. It is not too dirty in context. It is a hole in the wall and you can love or hate it for that. There are also some giant fried pork rinds and other things under warmer lamps. Store: Store is cool. Well stocked. Really well stocked for the items it has. It is almost like a buy in bulk place rather than having a huge assortment. They have produce, big meat department, snacks, limited baked goods, dry goods, laundry and cleaning supplies, and even imported over the counter medications. Lines can get real full, cause shoppers dont play games, their carts are full.

This place is absolutely disgusting and is a very sorry example of how you would be treated or served in a REAL mexican restaurant or grocery store be it here or in actual Mexico . the service through this entire establishment is horrible. none of the staff can answer any questions about the items that are sold here .the whole store is nasty the food is again nasty and finally the service is nasty .do not expect any type of customer service or appreciation while checking out because the cashiers will not give u any recognition even if u speak 100% spanish until its time for u to pay .when u do pay please pay very close attention because u will get overcharged on purpose cause for this they are very well trained. being a native texan my mexican heritage goes way back i also lived in Mexico for 4 yrs and i ate and shopped at different restaurants and grocery stores some in very poor towns. Ive never been to any type of business worse than this mind u Mexico is a country that can get away with plenty of health code violations i just dont know how this type of place could possibly still be up and runnin. I will NOT return to this store under my own will.......ENTER AT UR OWN RISK

Buenos productos,frescos,pero debo señalar que en dos ocasiones,que he ido a comprar carne,le he pedido que me la piquen en trocitos y me han dado respuesta negativa,para hacer especifico,la compra fue del cuero del puerco y la otra un pesado de carne de res ,le pedí al Carnicer que le la hiciera filetes y me dijo que no,algo que va en contra de la buena atención que ofrecen otros empleados.

This is pretty much a simple review for a simple place. This Indy Gem is hidden by the nooks of the old GM Plant in the downtown area. I have had the pleasure to indulge myself in the delicious, cheap, mexican cuisine. PSA: Please dont make this about the dressing of the plate, or the atmosphere of the "restaurant". This is a taco hut located inside of the supermarket. The choices are simple: Tacos, Tortas, or Burritos. with about 10 different meats. I have heard people numerous times specifying that they want "Soft shell tacos" or "fish tacos" this is not taco bell.... =) Try it all, see what you like. My favorite? Tacos de asada with horchata. Oh and have the Mexican Coke!

A few hours ago, I did made some coments about this place perhaps I shoul have said wich store I was refering to, and that was about store # 1 in oliver ave. The city should now about this store, in that store the employes handle the food that they serve us custumer while at the same time handle money in the cashier register, needless to say that the guys from any part of the atore when theyre hungry they serve themself without the most minimun respect that we custumers are watching them. this store felty people dont belong in our community, they reaaly thinking that were not watching them.

Been here before liked it then but Found this place to be extremely un professional second time around for the amount of money one will spend here, first thing that really bothered me was that my family of 5 was given a table of 4, some may not find this a big deal but it is when u are sitting there eating with one hand u definitely notice, second is I dont understand how are they gana have fans on in here when its 20 degrees outside, food wasnt even good either, oh and I almost forgot, everyone got there food like 5 min apart 1 star

The best burritos in town by a margin. The people there are really nice and helpful, even switching to English for those of us who have essentially zero comprehension of Spanish. They also offer an amazing variety of meats at the butcher counter as well as a vast wealth of imported Mexican goods. And, on top of all of that, they offer a prepared foods counter wherein you can order numerous favorites (e.g., tacos, burritos, tamales, etc.) I cannot recommend this place enough. Outstanding.

I run a very tight schedule and the last two nights I have attempted to run in to buy 1 item but have been turned away both nights. Now. Both nights I arrived very close to closing Friday 8:58 and Saturday 8:50. On Saturday I called the Store at 8:58 from the parking lot and the clerk and wanted in she said we are closed I didnt ask her what time the store closed and she said 9 PM I told her it was not yet nine her response was its 858 were closed

Some staff members are rude when answering a simple customers question and even give their personal opinion rather than answering by simply saying the store rules or policies. It happened to me AND of course I have seen couple of incidents with other customers too. Customer service classes are definatetly needed 4 (ADE RDZ) Other than that store has good products.

The place is well organized and clean. There is also an app that gives you coupons and discounts on different items, although sometimes it may not be perfect. This may lead to the "discount" to be added on your bill, instead of being removed. When this happens, the employees tell you to speak with the help desk, as they can not void the extra charge.

Dont go here youll become addicted to their tacos! I dont know what they are putting in those things but Ive been here 4 times in the last two weeks .
