Mixed review. Pros: - Excellent products. Trek and other brands sold at this store are top notch. - Selection. I had a variety of brands, models, colors, and features to choose from. - Knowledgeable sales staff. Cons: - Price. You wont find a deal here. Everything is either list price or higher. My recommendation...purchase your bike here, but buy your accessories on Amazon. - Service. I was told my new bike would be setup within 30 mins and they would call me. A day later and still no call. I called them the next day, yes the bike was ready. Went the third day to pick it up and there was not enough staff at the store to service customers, so I had to wait. Unfortunately, the customers ahead of me were there to complain about service, so the wait was fairly lengthy. -Support. At time of pickup, my bike was not fitted to me. The features were also not explained. Luckily, a wee but mighty high school girl who works there came up and asked if I needed help, then helped me get the new bike into the trunk of my car. I did receive an owners manual, but am not sure if it went with my bike since it was from 2011 and my was made in...actually I dont know, but I probably should, right? Summary A great place to purchase a quality bike if you are not looking for a deal and are patient to wait for staff to help you. I would go back, but would also shop around first.

Warning, DO NOT give them your drivers license to test ride a bike, I did and when I realized THE NEXT DAY that it had not been returned to me I called to say I would pick it up. When I arrived I was told it was "put in the mail". Yes, within 24 hours. It has been over 2 weeks now and still no license. have called them twice, one of the times I spoke with Joe who stated nonchalantly " I cant control the mail, dont worry, Ive done this a thousand times". Hmmmm......they need to change their policy for collateral and remembering to return it. Going to SOS tomorrow to replace my enhanced drivers license. This store has cost me time,energy,grief, and money. Would not recommend them. FYI - It was the Gross Pointe store , NOT Pontiac

great service. sales people knowledgeable - they were able to fit me with the type of bike i needed based on talking with me about how i ride, where i ride, etc. the mechanics in this store are excellent. worked with a young man, garrett miller, who was a very knowledgeable salesman, very professional and went out of his way to assist me with my purchase. going to an independent store like this is so worth the effort it may take to get there and the slight amount of extra cost as you cannot replace the personal service. they have great sales too.

Wasnt a good experience for me. Warranty information was not explained I wasnt provided with any brochures or literature about the bike I purchased, return policies were reviewed, my bike was not properly fitted to me, there overpriced for accessories clippless pedals their for $85 got the at Dicks online for $30 including shipping. Overall I feel as if they just wanted to sale me a bike and push me out the door. I guess my $600+ I was spending wasnt enough to warrant attention or great customer service.

Adam provided us with a friendly greeting and then helped us find just the right bike for my sons wife, our grandchildrens mother. Its a Trek Verve 3. She was very surprised when we gave it to her, and immediately went for a ride around the block. She returned and said, "This is so nice. Its much more comfortable and smooth riding, than my older bike. Thank you." Later, she added, "Id like to ride my bike all summer and just stay out of the car." Thanks Adam!

Q: Can I trust this place with a tuneup or any type of maintenance work? A: Yes; I have had my road bikes (79 Trek 510, 73 Nishiki Pro) tuned here and am about to take my 02 Cannondale Scalpel for a shifter installation. Either in the store or on the phone I have only experienced high knowledge and a friendly, unpretentious manner from the sales staff as well as the mechanics. Also to note, turnaround time for labor is usually just one business day!

Great people at this ACF store. I bought my Domane at the Hall Road store and had it shipped to the Grosse Pointe store. Jeff Fooks went well out of his way for me to make double sure the bike was right before I took it home. Other employees have helped me with other things like truing and tensioning 2 wheels for me in 1 hour. I have no reservations about recommending ACF both at Hall Road and Grosse Pointe.

Service is above and beyond. My bike had a problem that wasnt their fault, and they moved mountains to make it right, and gave me a great loaner for my vacation, while they beat the parts out of the manufacturer. --Years after the sale! You cant ask for more. 5 Stars. Thanks to Joe and the whole team.

Dealt with Bernie Stockwell at the Grosse Pointe location. Bought a BMX bike for my son. Couldnt have asked for better service from Bernie. He went above and beyond for me and and cannot thank him enough. I will be making future purchases from him as I know I will get the best service hands down.

Purchased a bike for my son. The handle bars were not installed properly and very loose when he tried to stear it. Staff seemed somewhat inexperienced. Maybe just the one I was working with. Ill give them another try but I wasnt happy.
