I have mixed feelings about this place. Being a semi-regular customer here for over 8 years Ive had a spectrum of experiences. The place is pretty quiet most of the time - which is a good thing, and their inventory is near perfect, as this is where Ive been getting all my paints, sketchbooks and cosplay materials but Im often left wandering around the store confused where certain items are because of how Im shy about speaking to the employees, which is a major issue of the place. Ive gotten multiple instances of employees not really being the most positive to their customers and was once scolded at for refusing to disclose the item I was making (a binder for a trans friend) when trying to find a 7 inch zipper. But overall, the place is a so-so for me regarding customer service but is pretty good with store itself.

A lady here called me a bad little monkey. I had to go back and talk to her. Had my inside hurting. I made the decision not to ever come back to this one, even though they are the closes one to me. The serves there sucks. The sales people are so rude. Even before the monkey comment, most of the time I went there, the ladies were nasty towards me or anyone that was with me. One time one of the workers rushed me in a nasty matter to make a decision at the cutting counter and I was the only one there. There was no line so I wasnt holding up one. I end up leaving without a purchase. Now this recent monkey comment really hurt me. I confronted her and she was saying it was a term of endearment. I didnt know what to say. I thought about it more and Im done with that place. I leave there most of the time unhappy.

Ive been coming here for as long as I can remember. The regular employees are very knowledgeable and are very interested in my projects. The only down side is that their selection of fabrics arent that big which is to be expected because its not a big store. The lines arent long so theres a siviler lining.

The was a spring sale going on at the time, I got a set of 3 rainbow washi tapes half off ($2.50) thats cheaper and faster than how I usually acquire washi via HK eBay. My friend also had some email coupons that took the edge off the full priced items in her basket!

THIS STORE IS RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER FROM ME.. THE STAFF HERE ARE VERY RUDE AND GRUMPY ESPECIALLY DONNA THE OLDER MANAGER AND THE RUDE RED HEAD LADY, THE ONLY ONE WHO HAS MANNERS AND IS VERY POLITE IS SHERINA I LIKE HER SHE ALWAYS HELPS ME AND MY WIFE WTH COUPONS

The interior was what you would expect from a JoAnn. It was my first time being here and I didnt realize the entrance was in the back. It needs updated signage and better lighting in the back. I felt a little unsafe leaving in the dark.

I love Jo-Ann Fabrics ... no matter what I need ... they have it! My coupons are my everything ... if I dont have them ... I walk out .... call me crazy but their coupons are worth going home for! Customer service, however, needs work!

Talked to a lady about Elsas ice dress and got so much useful information from her at the cutting counter. Talked to a cashier about cosplay and Youmacon. Everyone is mostly friendly but I wish there was a larger selection of fabric.

This storee has a nice selection, but the staff are either rude or unhelpful. They make you feel like youre bothering them just by asking a question. Although close, I wouldnt think twice about riding down to the Roseville store.
