Update: We were told during their remodel of part of the store that they would still carry the same products. However, now that its finished, a lot of the baking supplies are no longer offered. The ones that are are no longer eligible for the coupon discounts so Meijer is now cheaper. I believe they missed a great opportunity since the local cake and candy supply store moved about 5 miles north onto Hall Rd. Guess Ill be shopping out there or at Meijer now. I do a lot of baking and their coupons keep many of their prices lower than competitors. I am disappointed however, that they started telling customers they can only accept 1 coupon per transaction now. Their coupons specifically say, "Limit one coupon per product. Limit one coupon of each type per day". If we have different types of discounts, they should all be accepted. One cashier read that when I pointed it out and tried scanning both... the computer gave both discounts, yet the managers and other cashiers still insist they can only accept 1.

Despite the building exterior that clearly needs updating, the inside of this Michaels location is arranged very nicely. There are some areas inside that look like theyre going through minor renovations but the staff does a good job of keeping product away from that area. The store as a whole is: clean, well organized, and updated for the season. My only suggestion is that sale signs are placed by sale products during sales events. The easels I purchased appeared to be on sale online, but I had to go to the register to find out if they were on sale in the store as well. Luckily, my cashier (Denzel) was able to easily find this out for me and help me complete my purchase.

Unfortunately, this location is my least favorite since I frequent 2-3 different Michaels stores within a 50 mile radius. It IS an older & smaller store, but the only complaint I have is that the employees could be a bit friendlier. I find much nicer employees at the 23mile location. I DO wish, the coupon policy was the same at each store. It doesnt matter if I visit two locations in the same week with the same coupons, Im never able to use them the same & this location leans toward less, at register discounts. Whether this is a corporate or district issue, I am not sure. Having worked decades in retail myself, I know better than to blame staff for everything

I love Michaels, but its pretty hard to find things at this store while they are moving stuff around and the parking lot is weirdly laid out and has terrible blind spots! Update: My cashier today, Michelle, was fantastic! Not only was she fast and efficient without making me feel rushed, but she was also friendly! It is people like Michelle who make the long wait in line not seem so bad afterwards!

Not a perfect Michaels but the staff is kind and has always helped me out with finding or returning items. Biggest issues are really non issues as long as you know what to expect...sometimes waiting in line for five minutes (gives you time to set up the coupons on your phone) and checking if sale tags have expired and need to be taken down.

No floor assistance. Long lines, incorrect prices. Cannot answer questions staff has no knowledge of the products sold. Hobby Lobby seems to be the best in assisting any questions you may have. Staff is very nice and easy to talk to. Michaels staff answers are always the same answer. Dont know, if its not on shelves we dont have it.

Generally offer good coupons at the counter or from your smartphone. Clearance is very hit or miss. Staff knowledge of products seems limited. They didnt restock zigzag crazy scissors for so long, that I bought them on eBay for $1.

I love the selection but the prices are a bit too much for me. Besides that, its awesome. They have everything. Also, I dont like how long the waits in line can be. Friendly staff but no one was overly nice. Ill be back.
