A neighbor told me to go to Gillroys when other local places were out of the carrage bolts i needed. First time being in the store I locate the bolts and see a 4 inch by 1/4 carrage bolt costs $1.89 PER BOLT!! So as I find someone and ask if this is correct he just turns to someone else and looked at him. Then the other guy says "the prices have been the same for years". Well maybe thats the problem Gillroys, everything is prices not even close to other locals for the same product. I proceeded to go over to Ace that is 1 mile away and they had the carrage bolts for $.79 each. So a box is roughly $20 compared to Gillroys $40 for the same EXACT product. I never leave reviews but I felt obligated to after seeing how easy it was for all 3 employees to lose business without asking what a normal price is or anything of the such. Oh well never going back and will be sure to spread the word. Thanks

Great store and friendly staff. Best price and selection of bolts and fasteners in town. I found 1/4”x4” carriage bolts for $.40 each
