Fantastic Customer Service! I needed to replace a wiper blade on my 2009 Pontiac G6. I went to Carpenter Bros. to pick up 2 new ones. Since this was the first time I had to replace them on this vehicle, I had no idea which ones I needed or how to replace them. I asked for help and a kind employee helped me find exactly what I needed and even installed them on my car for me! This was one of the coldest windiest days in Ann Arbor and he came outside and spent 10 minutes with me installing them. I am extremely thankful for his service because these were complicated wiper blade mounts. I highly recommend Carpenter Bros. Great location and great service!

If you want to overpay a bunch of teenagers with absolutely no expertise to stare at you blankly when you ask for a standard piece of hardware by all means, go to Carpenter Brothers. High prices, poor selection, and bad service... they have it all! The only reason they get more than one star is because the ARE conveniently located. Too bad they almost never have what I need.

Quite possibly the worst hardware store in the Ann Arbor area. Prices are relatively high, the hardware section i.e. nuts and bolts are very disorganized with things in the wrong bins. 3 employees stood around talking while I waited at the key counter for 5 minutes before I was helped.

Ive never had a problem finding anything here between the help of the staff and the variety of hardware available. I do a lot of mechanic work on bicycles with weird tool needs and sizes and this place is my #1.

The staff are very welcoming and friendly. The store looks small, but is really huge inside! Lots of good deals and helpful advice! Its even walkable if you live nearby -- pedestrian friendly!

This is a really good hardware store. Well stocked. Staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. The U-haul rental is awesome too. You can even hire strong dependable men to do your moving!
