Great customer service relative to Home Depot. I stopped by Home Depot to get a replacement bolt for something and even though it turned out to be a very typical size (1/4" by 5/8") the staff at Home Depot was unable to handle it. They referred me to Rolisons Hardware. So, not only did Home Depot lose a sale but now they educated me regarding a competitor in the area that I previously didnt know existed! Nice, right? Anyway, Rolisons staff was willing to spend the time with me to figure out what bolt I needed and get my problem solved. Very nice, I think.

This place is what a hardware store is SUPPOSED to be. Staffed by people who know what they are talking about, and with an inventory of the obscure stuff that NOBODY around (certainly not the big box stores) can touch. I make it a point to shop there for as much as I can reasonably justify just to make sure this guy stays in business! If you need something that qualifies as "hardware", chances are, this place will have it. Thats a refreshing change compared to the big places.
