Was looking forward to trying this place as a birthday-dessert gift. 4 in our group. Got there and 2 seats at bar. 6 seats at window. So when the hostess said wed have to wait we said "oh there are plenty of seats at the window we dont mind sitting there." She said shed have to ask permission because they had 4 gift baskets sitting there. The shocking answer was no. They couldnt move them a few inches over to accommodate us. Wed have to wait. A nice couple that was at a 4-person table offered to move to the bar and gave us their table. Recovering from a broken foot, so that was much appreciated. Interestingly, not 5 minutes later a family of 4 entered and proceeded to sit at the window! Nobody said a thing! Restaurant Management 101 - FAIL. Tried to stay positive anyway and enjoy the experience, but the prices were so high for the small dessert, that I have to say Id never go back.

Deceitful, is how Id describe my experience. I went in and viewed the menu on the wall( very limited.) When the hostess offered to seat me I said, " no thank you Im looking for dinner and your menu really doesnt have that". She replied " Oh we have a full menu would you like a table.? I agreed expecting something more. I waited quite a bit for my server, only to find there is no"full menu" no salads, soups, entrees, just the few limited things on the wall where I entered. By now I had 20 minutes wasted I decided to stay and try the sliders and a drink. The 3 sliders were maybe golf ball sized, overcooked, served with 2 cucumber slices and a house sauce, on a slightly stale too sweet little biscuit/roll.$10.00 Next I had the frozen yogurt, I expected that to be fairly healthy, but it was ridiculously sweet, far too much sugar. I finished and went next door to have another dinner.

The icecream is very OK. I tried the Rum Chata Raisin (RCR), Who Needs A Therapist (WNAT), Beater Lickin Good (BLG), and Bourbon Pecan (BP). The icecreams texture is not very rich, which for a peanut butter and chocolate icecream like WNAT is pretty unfortunate. The BP is the best of the 4 I tried and is something truely special. RCR and BLG are pretty unimpressive, but WNAT was on the edge of being bad. The décor works well. It combines wood and bright yellow element for a modern, yet warm atmosphere. The building was clean and the wait staff was friendly. They serve alcohol. This feels like a gimmicky bar, but will wait a bit longer to cement that thought into how I think of it. I will give this place another go and report back on the drinks, but at the moment I would not recommend to a friend.

Northville Location refuses service during brunch to lunch change over on Sundays. They wont even scoop ice cream or serve anything from the dessert case. On Sunday, the 23rd of April, they would let us sit at the bar, at a table either...it was slow in there. Theyd only sell us pre-packed ice cream. The front of the house personnel didnt apologize, just said come back in an hour or so. This policy isnt posted anywhere. There are other full service restaurants in Northville open on Sunday that dont have this policy or rude front of the house staff....go there for brunch or lunch on Sunday....youll have service. Not the way my parents wanted to celebrate my birthday with me. We got our fun adult beverages, delicious food, and usual level of service you expect from a small business somewhere else.

Wanted to stop in here to try some of there dessert cocktails, instead I left disappointed. Was sat quite quickly, but after that it was all downhill. The hostess gave us our menus and I asked what beers where on tap she did not know. After I found them on the the menu I waited for my wife to make her selection. We waited... And waited but no one ever came to take our order., I made direct eye contact with the bartender twice hoping she would come over without having to rudely flag her down. No such luck. After about 10 min we just got up and left. I have to also add that only Two of the four tables were taken and the bar was half full.

Met Paul, one of the two owners. What a great place to visit in downtown Farmington Michigan. tried several items. Chocolate shake they add a little coffee to enhance the flavor yum, had the Parmenters Cider Mill doughnut bread pudding and was outstanding, They have a full bar and can mix your favorite alcoholic beverage with any desert or ice cream, many choices on and off the menu. ( no children after 7pm) On non holiday weekends they offer a Sunday Brunch with limited items. it is quaint with a 49 person occupancy. Just the place we need in our beautiful downtown Farmington :)

Was a big fan with Northville, Michigan location. Now there in my back yard! Had a cup of the Dragon Bite - Dragons milk stout ice-cream with salted caramel swirl and chocolate crisps. Just the right amount of flavors with every bite. Wife had the Florida Dream Key lime pie Low-fat Greek yogurt in waffle cone, but youd never guess low-fat with such a strong taste. If your into small batch ice-cream this is the place in Michigan. Not to mention they have a full bar. Check Browndog out if you have a chance. Its a new experience to tasting ice-cream. Fantastic!

Let me start off with saying how excited I was to try it. We waited over an hr to be seated, and let me tell you it was not worth it at all. I ordered the who needs a therapist martini which tasted like water with chocolate milk, probably the worst Ive ever had. On top of that the staff was pretty rude and told me that if I didnt like it I needed to let them know right away and that needs it needs to be full, very Sorry but my martini wasnt even full when you brought it to me. My friends got the cosmo and Kentucky mule which was just plain terrible.

I had an awesome experience here. The staff was friendly and smiling, and explained how they make the ice cream fresh every week. Its like everything about this ice cream is better than any other ice cream Ive ever had. The flavor, freshness, consistency, and as one of my group remarked, even the temperature, made it the best ice cream Ive ever had period. The environment was well kept and had a pleasant decor. I had the Mystery Cookie flavor, and I cant wait to go back to try the Magic Cereal flavor next week. Fresh ice cream gets made on Mondays!

Awesome selection of custom cocktails, many dessert-themed and featuring house-made infused booze. Limited draft beer selection but theyre all A-list MI brews (Shorts, New Holland, OddSide, Dark Horse). Spanish coffee was beautifully presented and delicious. Infused ice creams were equally tasty. A cocktail/dessert place that would be at home in a bigger city but Im glad theyre here!

No one under 21 after 7pm to a dessert bar?? Its a dessert bar... in a family community....who do you think is going to come? We were told we could sit on the ground outside because our son was with us. Obviously my husband and I couldnt have a drink Never go back- great idea, wrong execution. Been to a hundred dessert bars done right - this is not one of them
