Started off rough, I had made reservations with the manager, (Paul Gabriel) had his cell # talked to him directly. All good, we arrived full party of 4 on time. drove over an hour to get to browndog, hostess was clueless & blamed the manager for not informing her of reservation. If that wasnt bad enough, We ordered our food. One Wagoo Burger with the egg, one without. hmmm, seems the kitchen left out the slaw, the bacon & our burgers looked slapped together & not looking like their website pic. sad. Another order was the triple Bulgogi sliders, again, where was the wasabi & no pickled cucumber, but there were a couple of carrots there?? Trying to catch our server was not easy. When she finally came to the table we told her our burgers were not as the menu described, no bacon, no slaw??? She said she would let the kitchen know? really? that didnt save our burgers. After speaking with the (girl) manager, she came over & offered 20.03 off our bill . The server was fast enough to get the card swiped before the manager told her not to. So, a credit for the full amount was given & then less 20.03 of the bill recharged on my cc. She offered a receipt but not the breakdown of how she gave the discount. Bill started out at 133.56 & eneded up at 113.53.Lousy service, food marginal. Not even close to the presentation of the morning show, food shown on Live in the D. We tipped the server cash,18%. We were so excited to venture out of our local area, as it was my daughters & mine birthday dinner to someplace that sounded fun & the food looked amazing, ON TV. This is in regards to the new location that includes cocktails. Im really hoping our experience last night was due to still finding its groove in a new location and not what we will see in the future. To give them the benefit of the doubt Im giving them 3 stars vs. 2. I love the Farmington location but this seemed nothing comparable: 1) The atmosphere and lighting are inconsistent with a bar. No one wants bright lights wirh their cocktails. Its just not relaxing. 2) Whereas I love the cocktails at the Farmington location, this was just gross. I dont mind spending $10-14 on a cocktail but it has to be made well. My cocktail was significantly sweeter than expected and cloudy with fig seeds all throughout. Pretty gross and not balanced! 3) If a bar is doing the theme Dessert Bar, I expect desserts and adult beverages to be available until close... I thought that was the whole point of a dessert bar! When seated we were asked what we were there for, we responded dessert and cocktails. We werent told until we went to order that the kitchen was closed. It wouldve been nice to know that from the beginning. To be fair to the clearly new staff, I will leave my thoughts about their service out until they have a better opportunity to step up their game but that will be necessary for this business to succeed. I want to love this location as much as the Farmington location. I really hope itll get there soon.

I LOVE Brown Dog Creamery! Aztec chocolate is a favorite of mine. Its rich and chocolatey with a zing of cayenne pepper. I am definitely a groupy...The ice cream scoopers are top notch, very polite and welcome the opportunity to let you sample the flavors. We dont eat sweets all week so we can visit Browndog each Friday. (If my daughter acts up during the week, we tell her she will have Browndog taken away. Once, we took it away for a month. Now shes quick to change her behavior!) Yummmmmmy gooooood.

This is a nice upbeat/modern ice cream shop with many interesting and yummy flavors! They have good, unique ice cream and good Mexican hot chocolate (I have been here about three times). My only reasons for four stars is because it is a little pricey (For ice cream), and the server can take a while, even when barely anyone is in there. I am a little sad too see this place turn into a bar because it is so childish and cool currently ;(. But I would recommend this place!

A creamy bite of Browndogs homemade iced cream will have you hooked. Theres not a huge variety of flavors but still a decent amount. Ask for tasty sample if youre perusing their cream. I recommend the pumpkin, Salty Dog, and Cookie Monster, yum! You can even bring home a tub of your favorite flavors if you cant get enough. Stop by for a cool treat your tastebuds wont forget.

Browndog did our wedding cake and they did a great job. Exactly what I had been picturing. I am not a big frosting person, but I love their frosting (and their lemon flavored cake!). We have also gone to Browndog on occasion for an ice cream date and they never disappoint. Always great, interesting flavors.

Fantastic! I walked in for the first time and the employees went right on to explain the shops homemade ice creams and treats. They have some really bizarre flavors that were surprisingly good (like Mexican fiesta). I highly suggest the Cookie Monster flavor! Great job, Browndog!

The homemade ice cream, cupcakes and service alone are reason to go here. But the fact that I can get a great cocktail also just makes it even better. First time I went in was just spur of the moment walking by but now I make sure to swing by whenever in downtown Northville

Excellent Service!! Unique ice cream. The winter smoky citrus was amazing. Hoping to be able to buy the bourbon carmel sauce some day it was awesome with the bourbon pecan ice cream. Love the idea of the sample flights.

Fantastic ice cream. The rest of the desert options look awesome. Brilliant vibrant flavors combinations, smooth and creamy ice cream. Forget your local ice cream place and come make the trip to Browndog in Northville.

Burger and brussel sprouts were awesome. The pb chocolate cake wasnt good though. Icing was too sweet and the cake was rock hard. The hot chocolate lava cake was great!
