Shall we play a game? Yes? Ok. Not really a game but youll have enough fun reading. So were all sleepless college students up on a Thursday night. Studying. Because thats what we do. We decided to order Insomnia at like 10:30. Great idea right? I know! BS. So we ordered the cookies at approx 10:40 and they said theyll be here at like 11:20 ish. Which was probably the only right thing they said this entire two hour experience. Yes two hours. Keep reading. We went outside at 11:20 when the deliverer called and said she was here. I wont name any names but lets call her "Karen," or was it "Kaitlin," lets go with the latter. So we literally got outside at the location a minute after, and received a call as to where we were. We said we were at the pickup location but we saw the car with the Insomnia cookie top triangle delivery this-is-the-delivery-car thingy on top. She was driving off. And best part yet, she called and said we were at the wrong location. Oh yeah, she accused us of getting lost in our own dorm. Funny. We werent in a dorm or anywhere near one. Were at a library. So we called the corporate company Insomnia headquarters of the cookie place and they were not very helpful. In short, we called 6 times. They picked up 6 times. We asked 6 times where the cookies were. 3 times they said that the cookies were on their way out. 1 other time they said that the driver returned back to the store. The other two were kind of cussed out but that was after an hour of waiting outside. Its 45 degrees. Farenheit. Alright? Did I mention we are college students and have stuff to do? Hence.. DELIVERY. On one of the calls we asked for the status of the delivery. At this point we have requested a re-delivery. Twice. And at this point is 12:30am. Literally, we ordered cookies yesterday and they didnt arrive for two hours until today. So yeah this "Karen" or "Kaitlin" said that she was on her way at like 12:32am, and would be here in 10 minutes. Finally, at 12:52am, a gentleman showed up with our cookies. I have absolutely no proof, but I am absolutely certain that she requested for the gentleman to deliver, since she couldnt get here within an hour probably. In the end, we had one terrible experience with one driver, and no help from the headquarters. The gentleman who delivered was the best help by far. He finally brought us our cookies in under 20 minutes. After 2 hours, 20 minutes seemed pretty damn fast. Cookies were cold, but there were the number we ordered. Not bad. Just saying Ive ordered from Insomnia before and theyre easily a 4 or 5. But in this case, Ill give them a 3 so you might actually read this. Yes its okay. We got free cookies. Much like its our previous experience with Papa Johns. Youll know its me when you read it. We still have yet to claim our free pizza. Free pizza? Are you hungry too? Yeah go read it and find out how to get it. This isnt Christopher Choi. He left his computer here while eating the cookies. Interesting right? Yeah. Oh this is my second review. So I should give myself a name. Yay? Nay? Yay. Lets go with theFword. The F stands for food of course.

I love the cookies, but they have poor customer service. I ordered my cookies at 1pm, and called three times, the driver claim they called and I didnt answer, but everybody else who called me got through with no issue. I spoke with them for three hours, just to cancel my order. I paid for my order on line, and I tipped, and I tipped well, so you could have took the effort to try a step harder to get me my order, which was for someones birthday, but I guess once you got your tip that was all that mattered right? thanks for messing up the surprise, and I cant wait to come and speak to your supervisor. Ive never had bad service from the Ypsilanti location, but this Ann Arbor location 1229 S University Ave, Ann Arbor, MI 48104, is horrible with their delivery times, or even getting the delivery to you at all, along with their poor customer support who doesnt have any empathy at all! Ohh! I also stood at the door for 30 minutes to make sure I would see the car pull up which never happened, that was my whole lunch....

When driving home from work today, I encountered one of their delivery drivers. I was about to enter the left hand turn lane when I saw a car speeding past traffic in the left hand turn lane with no regard for traffic law. The road was busy, not congested, but busy. The driver then sped past me with no regard for the safety of other drivers. When we arrived at our turn, the delivery driver sped away with no regard to the speed limit. What happened next takes the cake though. The driver turned into my apartment complex and proceeded to ignore traffic signs and the posted speed limit of 10mph. Speed limits in residential areas are there for the safety of children that live there. As a representative of this business, delivery drivers are the face on the street of this organization. If the behavior of this driver is any estimate of the type of people they employ I will never be doing business with this company. Blatant disregard for traffic laws, driver etiquette and the safety of a neighborhood.

The concept of a late-night cookie store is hard to turn down. Apparently I am not the only one who thinks so; I was here on a Sunday night, from 10-11pm, and it was quite busy. What I liked: - The cookie smells when you walk in. Dangerous. - The chocolate mint cookie. - All of the ways you can get your dessert (cookie, ice cream, cookiewich, a la mode, etc.) - Their hours, 12pm to 3am every single day. What I wasnt as into: - The prices. Its $1.35 for a single regular-sized cookie. Prices only go up from there. (A cookiewich with ice cream is $5!) - No real seating. There are a couple of bars with high stools by the windows, and an awkwardly large open space in the middle of the room where tables would go. Not at all conducive to sitting with friends. - The lack of creativity in cookies. They had your standards--M&Ms, chocolate chunk, macadamia nut, etc.--but nothing really inventive or exciting. Id be more likely to go back if they had some fun with it.

Went there around midnight and had a decently long line. Took forever to get to the counter though because the staff was goofing around and werent working efficiently. Then we got the cookies finally (I walked out but my friend wanted to stay and wait) they were super mediocre and overly cooked on the border of being burnt. Other reviews here say their cookies are super undercooked. So it sounds like this place is highly inconsistent. Your better off with premade cookie dough at your house. And for the price, this place is min value.

Cookies are good but prices are ridiculous.. My coworkers and I just ordered cookie ice cream sandwichs out of mid day sugar crisis & the amount of ice cream we received to make our $6.00 cookie sandwichs was a spoonful !!! Like a bite of ice cream once it was placed on the cookie it melted immediately- jokes on us for paying $25 for 3 cookie sandwichs :: the concept of this is neat hence the two star rating but the prices are comical & we will not be ordering again.
