If you have an eye for quality and know what to get and avoid, theres plentry of decent stuff there, especially if youre just a small DIYer like me who doesnt use their tools 24/7 or beat the heck out of them, or if you just need to get a strange, specialty tool to use it once or twice. Most of the tools are in try-me style displays or packaging that you can easily open in the store to get a feel for the tools quality before you buy it. Id strongly recommend doing this, since it lets you feel how the tool fits in your hand, the weight, the balance, and the quality and smoothness of the mechanical parts inside, so you can get to know the tool and whether you want it or not before you actually buy it. Id recommend reading reviews before buying things like power rools, though, I found those to be a bit hit-or-miss. Good if you use them lightly, but assume theyre light duty at best. If you want something but it still looks a little expensive, just wait and itll probably go on sale. Harbor Freight have helped me get through a lot of projects without breaking the bank, but if its a serious project or you want tools that will last you a lifetime, I wouldnt recommend it.

Been ASE certified master mechanic for 30 years and all i use are harbor freight tools. Why buy snap-on air tools for $1k when can get exact spec from HF with 1 year warranty for $250? And just before the warranty expires, just swap it out for new one for $20....would have to do that for 20+ years to have paid as much as 1 snapon tool. Dont listen to people who trash the quality of HF tools theyre probably using the wrong tool for the job and wonder why it breaks! By the way i use their standard sockets on impact gun and have yet to break one. PLEASE STOP HIRING WOMEN TO RUN REGISTER and provide customer service 90% of time they dont know what tool or product your talking about or looking for! asked for a rain check on a sale item and had to ask three different girls who never even heard of it before, SAD!

The store itself is well laid out and they usually have everything in their ads and then some. They have great prices on their stuff. 3 star goes to the staff that you have to deal with. Hit or miss. Some are friendly and some just dont want to be there which is pretty obvious. The products sold arent always the best quality, but most of the time, it is something you will use several times a year and is well worth the money.

I know the quality sucks, but tools are only used a few times and do the job just fine before they fall apart. Great deals on simple stuff, trailer accessories and much more. Hell, even solar panels and log splitters in stock. If you are a man and fix things, this is like toys are us doe guys. Love it.

Inexpensive tools always available for non-pros like me. Their "Professional" line of tools have a lifetime warranty and seem heavy duty. I havent damaged or broken any but I also dont use them daily. Prices are very reasonable and they have really good sales.

Its Harbor Freight. Cheap tools and home improvement items. Everything usually has a exchange warranty and the coupons always have free stuff. I always come here for a 1 time use tool or something that normally costs an arm and a leg at other places.
