TotaI Scam. I made the mistake of stopping into this location for an upgrade as my two year contract was to expire. I had a Droid X that was the perfect phone. I should have been suspicious when the sales rep pushed a Samsung Stellar. With the $50.00 rebate the phone would cost something like $80.00. Price was not an issue. I relied on what I was told by the sales rep. Everything went well. I bought accessories, a new Stellar and exited the store. I didnt figure out until almost four months later that the camera and video on the phone didnt work at all in what would be considered reasonable low light conditions. There is no flash. It never dawned on me a new phone would be worse that the first camera and video I had on a phone years ago. Every other aspect of the phone other than the camera was great. I stopped by the store and of course was assured something would be done. It sure was; I was offered additional line, another account, a tablet, blah, blah, blah. The store employee totally agreed with me in that my needs of a particular cell phone were not addressed. Now couple this with a long term blemish free record with Verizon and it would seem clear the employee I purchased my phone from was less than forthright. My guess is since the Samsung 3 was already available (and was never offered to me) that the inner office orders were to sell any Stellars since the phones were basically worthless now that the Galaxy 3 was out and getting rave reviews. Ill admit, I did little research on my own prior to my upgrade. Nothing else makes sense why a long term employee would push such a junky soon to be worthless phone to a guy that didnt have a budget restriction. As I mentioned I stopped in the store last Saturday. Basically if you dont stop in the store you will never speak to anyone. A recorder comes on asking that a message be left and an associate will call as at the moment they are all busy taking care of satisfied customers. LOL. Try it...........leave a message and wait for a return call. Anyway, I was promised all would turn out fine and that the store manager would call as soon as she got in at 4:00 p.m. At 6:00 p.m. she finally arrived (the store closes at 8:00 p.m.) and totally agreed with what I have referenced. She emailed some guy somewhere with a vague response that basically eluded to how screwed I was. LOL. She promised to scale one more level, some lady, and assured me I would be contacted the following Monday. Of course no call on Monday. I called............and guess what, yep, the recorder. I waited until Tuesday and called late in the afternoon. The manager claimed the owner was on her own time schedule and when she called she called. Great! Tonight I took one last stab at getting some satisfaction and spoke with two employees at Verison corporate. Basically, and in so many words, I was told well see you in a couple of years at the time of your next upgrade and maybe then you can get a phone that suits your needs. It was either accept this or bend over for a phone at retail prices.Yeah, OK. My only choice is to cancel my contract, ($325.00) bite the bullet and sue in small claims court for my losses. That is my plan. I encourage anyone considering this outfit to search other rating sources regarding the other stores this individual company owns. Ask a sales rep where the other stores are located. The ratings are not all that positive. (Non Google ratings) Remember this...............once you upgrade youre screwed even if you find out you were misled. The store owner knows this and so does Verizon. If you are forced to buy at this location do your own research and dont rely on the employee to stick you with an outdated and poorly performing phone like I have.

The absolute worst cell phone store I have ever been to since cell phones became available. (Ive had a cell phone for 14 years) Search around and look at the ratings for this place on sites other than Verizon Wireless servers and sponsored sites. Its also a good idea to ask the representatives at this location where the other stores they own are located. There are at least two other locations. Look at the reviews. It was a big mistake shopping here. I got stuck with an outdated phone that is practically useless for my profession. Of course Im stuck with the two year Verizon contract so I have another year with a crappy phone. I was sold a Samsung 3 without a flash on the camera that sucks. The Samsung 4 was available at the time of my upgrade and the sales rep indicated the Samsung 3 was the latest model. Ultimately it was my fault for not doing my own research. I trusted this guy and paid the piper. I found the sales manager to be full of it and the owner of the store to be totally uncooperative. AVOID and shop elsewhere. This store won by unloading an outdated phone under the reuse of it being the latest model. This was a total lie. Ive limped along with this useless phone and probably should have just paid the cancellation fee and started over. I thought I may get lucky and have the phone break under warranty only to find the Samsung 3 was no longer available. This didnt happen. This location can consider me their full time marketing rep. I suspect these crooks have reviews posted by friends and employees of their stores. Pay attention to reviews unrelated to Google reviews which are unverified, duplicate and false. This place sucks. Get anything and everything in writing. AVOID THESE FRANCHISE STORES LIKE THE PLAGUE. To the unsuspecting to the average person one store looks like any other. WRONG! There are corporate stores and franchise stores. The franchise store will lie, cheat and BS.............whatever it takes to make a sale. Deal with corporate stores only or call Verizon and speak with the company directly. I just updated this review the other day and the ding bat, after two years sent an email wanting to know if there was anything else she could do. LOL. How about returning a few of the phone calls from two years ago. Im at the end of my two year screwing so Ill be free to deal with someone reputable this time.

You have to go this store and ask for Colleen!!! Colleen’s knowledge about their products at the Verizon store in downtown Ann Arbor is outstanding, her personality and energy are magnetic, and she made our experience at her store smooth and wonderful! We found the smart phones we needed and we could not be happier with the service she provided. I walked into her store alone first; I wanted to do my own window-shopping before bringing my husband in. I was greeted by Colleen, and by her beautiful genuine smile, and she listened patiently to me about what I had in mind. Then she spent a lot of time telling me about the pros and cons of different phones, and about the plans that Verizon has to offer. I left convinced that we wanted make our purchases from Verizon and from that particular store because of her. That Verizon store in downtown Ann Arbor is very fortunate to have Colleen and her finesse. Her customer service skills are very high level and she is very easy to talk to, and will try her best to help her clients out. She is not pushy at all, you don’t even feel like she is actually there to make some sells! She honestly wants the client to leave her store happy and with what they need, and that is how I left that day. After talking to Colleen, I did not want to deal with anybody else but her. Say no more, I brought my husband (we live in Plymouth) all the way to Ann Arbor to purchase our phones there. My husband always has a million questions and Colleen answered them all with professionalism and gave us great advice. Once we had our phones in hand she went the extra mile (actually she gracefully stayed beyond store hours with us) to make sure we had everything set, and that we were ready to go with our new phones! We highly recommend Colleen, to be your guide and guru Verizon person, so if you are considering switching to Verizon, or starting with a new Verizon product, pay her a visit, she is THE VERY BEST, you will be very pleased!
