My first experience with this store was 50-50. I bought 2 TVs & sound bars to put together a TV system at my church. The downside was the young techs didnt know their back side from their elbow. They sold me things I didnt need & tried to tell me things that were inaccurate. Against my better judgment, I went back to get an appliance. unfortunately the washer/dryer unit was too big and I had to have it exchanged w/ a smaller unit. Delivery person was awesome and knew his stuff so he was able to recommend what to do. from there, everything spiraled into a dark abyss. it took two days to do the exchange. the new one would take three weeks to come in. I was told by department manager, Alex Ford, that I would receive a call 24-48 hours ahead and schedule my delivery and all would be well considering I needed it to be late I the day. the new delivery day was a Wednesday and I explained I could not get out of work in time for a day delivery but could be home for 5PM. All I received was an automated call saying when they would be there. But they called on my home phone when I gave instruction to call my cell since I am AT WORK ALL DAY. I spent two days on the phone before the delivery and went through 5 employees before getting the store manager. She claimed she could not change the delivery day since it was the day before and there were no notes in the file about a call to my cell phone. upon getting to the store, she made me wait to have an audience with her. While she did call the warehouse, she said that it was impossible to change the delivery time of a 1-3PM window to a 5-7PM window because it was already programmed by a GPS route. She also said she could force a change of day but it would cost me $70.00 because of me inconveniencing the delivery. She would not back down and after a standoff she said she had other customers to deal with and I was on my own. Customer service phone service worked better and they had me rescheduled within 30 minutes and no extra cost. Their lack of customer service and knowledge is terrible.

Literally the worst experience at a Best Buy. The customer service representative/geek squad employees were totally turned off when I approached the counter when they found out and saw it was a phone rapid replacement appointment. I felt confused and embarrassed for making an appointment through geek squad on the phone like I was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Ive had my phone replaced at another local Best Buy with no issues or troubles. I had to physically go into my phone settings and about phone for them to tell me my phone had no proper code for them to tell my phone was insured.. when ive done this once before.. it was insured for a full year and its only been 5 months.. on top of the 3 assistants it took 3 managers/shift supervisors to tell me what I was trying to do was impossible/illegal. Im sorry.. I work 6 days a week and work damn hard.. not to have someone at best buy geek squad to tell me Im basically trying to pull a fast one. Long story short. Was the worst eye rolling huffing and puffing attitude demeaning giving service Ive ever had. And I work as a waiter serving the public. Should probably work on your approach and people skills best buy.. I can see you going out of business real soon if not. Get some employees that arent lazy and can explain policies without an attitude or 6 people for one replacement. Also.. left there and got my process for phone replacement under way in a matter of 7 minutes flat. No attitude or headache involved. Thank cheesus.

The Greendale Mall Best Buy is the same way. Unless its Christmas time, the store is very understaffed. Then when you do find an employee, they say " This Isnt My Department, Ill go find someone who does". By the time they find someone, I have either found what I was looking for myself. If I cannot find it & I have to wait. Then they just point me in the general direction & say try that aisle, then they walk off. One even went as far as looking in the computer for a movie for me to see if it was in stock. The computer said the store had them. I asked if he could go get me one & that employees response was, " I was just back there I didnt see any , but you can order it online ". I was upset, so I asked another employee for the same thing. This employee had no problem offering to go in back & look. I waited maybe 3min & that employee returned to me with the item in hand. After being told by a lazier employee that there were none in back. Like I said, that first employee didnt even bother to look. The employee who found it for me said that they had a few cases of this particular movie I wanted. You need more employees in your stores that arent lazy. It would also be even more helpful if they stayed in their proper working area.

They sold me a defect tv and would not give me a refund or exchange when I brought it back, claiming the defect was my fault. after arguing with them for 2 hours they forced me out of the store and threatened to call police if I would not leave. It was the WORST customer service I have ever experienced in my entire life. If you buy a tv here, make sure to have them test it in front of you or you might not be able to return it. added to my previous post: the tv i bought was a Sharp 42 plasma tv. When i brought it home and turned it on, It looked like there are liquid crystals spill inside the TV. There was no physical damage could be observed on the unit or on the screen.

Overall customer service blows. Didn't see it as a child but now as a adult I do. Also I keep buying defective equipment from this store.
Today my netgear wireless router last month a defective turtle beach headset,I've past the line of bad luck. But with that being said where else can you go for electronics? That's why I rate it 2/5 stars.
At least I can find almost anything, which brings me to my next problem, they have a small video game selection:/.
You go because you have to but if there is a decent electric barter in your zone I would go there. Avoid best buy at all costs:/

Worst experience I have ever encountered. If I could give a review of 0 stars I would. The communication between their employees who are "trying to resolve your issue" is absolutely unacceptable. My refrigerator which was suppose to be delivered on Tuesday, never made it onto the truck so they showed up to my house without one. Was told I need to now wait until Saturday, and they have YET to return a phone call to confirm this. All I keep getting is the runaround and I will be cancelling my 900$ order immediately. I would NEVER recommend this store to anybody. Spend a little extra money and get ACTUAL professional help people.
