I called to inquire about ordering flowers through them for my wedding. I just wanted to order flowers through a small local shop and then my bridal party and I were going to make our own bouquets. The head designer was so rude, telling me she had to pay her rent, utilities, etc and she would not sell to me if wasnt going to pay her to arrange the flowers for us. She kept insisting that she wouldnt sell to me wholesale. I kept trying to tell her I wasnt trying to buy wholesale, I just wanted to buy flowers through a small shop so I didnt have to deal with a large impersonal company. People do it all the time, they go into a shop and buy a lot of flowers. That is all I wanted, I would of paid full retail for the flowers. Regardless of whether they could have accomodated me or not, the rudeness of her response will ensure I never use their store. Their own website says they are "Watertowns Friendly Main St. Flower shop" and that they specialize in "large inventory of fresh flowers". I am a nervous bride and her horrible rudeness had me almost in tears. If you cant be nice to someone just calling for information then you shouldnt be in busineses. Had she just kindly explained to me her views I would have thanked her for her time and used her for non-wedding things, but now never.

I used Watertown Main Street Florist for a very last minute order for altar flowers for my sons wedding. Because of a series of snow storms, his flower order was delayed. The day before the wedding I asked Ruby to make up two huge arrangements for the altar. They were magnificent. They were beautiful during the ceremony, and particularly beautiful in the pictures. I would use them again without hesitation.

I bought flowers for our anniversary and my wifes bday. Both times they were beautiful and, most importantly, my wife loved them. Today Ill be buying from them again. Previously, I tried some other florist further down on Main St and was disappointed in the quality of flowers, longevity, and arrangement.
